Inconsistent but this is my favorite BBQ ribs when they are at their best. Some visits I get undercooked or overcooked and I wish they'd be more consistent if I'm going to recommend it. Local beer!

Closest restaurant and bar to condo with overpriced but good food and drinks. I like the salmon with maple bacon Brussels sprouts. Outdoor seating is nice.

The Arcade has the honor of being Memphis' oldest restaurant. Speros Zepatos founded the diner in 1919 after immigrating from Cephalonia, Greece. Food is decent and worth the visit.

Wonderful Brazilian chain restaurant with great cocktails. Can easily spend $100 for two for all the meat you can stand. I love it when I want to splurge.

Excellent brunch on Saturday and Sunday and right on the trolley line or just walk down Main St. Old Theater that used to show silent movies and now you will see some playing on the wall.

In Midtown Memphis, this was party central back in the late 70s/early 80s but faded out. It has come back and is a great area for live plays, great restaurants, drinks, and more. 5 miles by car.

Great place to see free live music in late spring to early fall. Check their website calendar for event info. I provide lawn chairs, picnic bags and blankets for it. You bring food and booze.

This place is a little hidden but totally worth the visit and inexpensive at $6 for adults. It is a private collection and wonderful to see. Just down Main St. on the trolley line.
