Nearest Shops • Tesco Express – Just around the corner in Babbacombe Road • Fore Street St Marychurch Co-Op Supermarket and a Sainsburys Local as well as independent Bakers, Butchers, Fishmongers, Greengrocers, etc. – 15 mins walk • Lidl – 10 min drive – St Marychurch Road • Shopping Centres …. Torquay has a large shopping centre where you will be able to access most popular High Street Shops • The Willows Retail Park is on the main road into Torquay A3022 (Riviera Way) where you will find a Sainsbury’s, Marks & Spencer and other major retailers. Slightly further in there is Riviera Retail Park and The Bridge Retail Park where you will find an Asda Superstore and other major retailers. If you arrived by car, it is likely that you will have passed these. Places to eat There are several takeaways in the area including Fish and Chips, Indian, Chinese, Pizzas and Kebabs. We have found the Fish and Chips from Hanbury's to be excellent and the Indian food from the Mirch Masala (Also dine in) to be very good. Bars There are numerous bars and hotels within a very short distance from the apartment for you to discover. Some of them have Live Sports so you do not need to miss anything! You can follow the path South to Torquay where you can take in some amazing views of Anstey's Cove Hopes Nose and Thatcher Point then to Meadfoot Beach and to Daddyhole Plain where you can take a path around the cliff (by the coastguard station) all the way into Torquay harbour. This walk is along the cliff so there are a lot of stairs! Dartmoor National Park is approximately 45 minutes' drive away. This is a great place for walking or mountain bikes and there are far too many routes to mention! Excellent public transport links to the surrounding areas

The nearest mainline train station is Torquay which is approximately 10 minutes away by taxi or if you prefer there are buses that take you almost to the door (Bus No 22). The apartment is conveniently situated near main bus routes. No.122 and No. 22 bus stops can be found only a few minutes’ walk away, around the block on Babbacombe Road (A379). Bus No.122 to goes to Paignton via Torquay harbour, No. 22 to Torquay town centre and harbourside. Buses are run by Stagecoach and timetables are available online.
