Ilfracombe Eating and Drinking Best Fish and Chips
We have tried most of them - this one is our favourite although sadly closed in winter. The Ilfracombe fryer is also pretty good but again closed in winter. Maddie’s isn’t bad, fish and service good but chips can be a bit greasy. Lynbay can be good but is inconsistent!
The Dolphin
7 The QuayGood batter - chips not greasy - rich and tasty curry sauce.
Ilfracombe - Restaurants
Two mins from the flat. Great Italian - really lovely pizza and tiramisu. Can ring and order takeaway to collect. Pizzas not huge so order some sides if you are really hungry.

Ilfracombe Parks
This park is a little known gem, with a boating lake, sensory garden, tennis courts, tea room (currently closed) and children’s play area. It’s a lovely place to wander round, listening to the sound of running water wherever you go.
