A great beach along the SeaWall path. It is very nice as a pit stop. There is a cafeteria open most days here. Tuesdays is drum circle night I believe. A tradition here is to applaud when the sun sets over the mountainous horizon.

You can't go wrong or have a bad night. Also, it is a great place to start or end the night as the area, Gastown, is very nice to walk around in and bar/restaurant hop.
