The interior design in this museum cafe is really spectacular with occasional live piano performances in the afternoon. The food and coffee are reasonable but the setting is definitely worth taking some time out of museum visiting.

Originally a private house filled with the private collection of Sir John Soane (a famous architect). It's pretty mindblowing that a private individual could get this large a collection of paintings, statues and other cultural items.

Parks & Nature

Lovely manicured greenery in the heart of London. If the weather is nice, there's nowhere better to be in the neighbourhood. If you like running there are a few routes around the perimeter of the park.

Shopping

The most famous department store in the UK. It's been refitted to be ultra-luxurious and touristy, with restaurants and cafes in every spare corner, but it's definitely worth a visit. The furniture section is good fun to wander through and daydream of home decorations.
