A hugely popular place in the summer. Come here to watch baseball or bocce ball or just to see the hipsters of Toronto in their natural habitat. Sometimes there are outdoor plays.

Apparently this place has good food, I've only ever had their nutella filled sugar donuts, but I will happily write a five star review on that alone!

You can only buy alcoholic drinks from a few retailers in Ontario. The Beer Store sells beer. If you're looking for local breweries or craft beer though the LCBO might be a better option.

The Steamwhistle brewery has a live music venue and does brewery tours. If you're visiting the CN tower or the Aquarium it is one of the few other things of interest in that neighborhood.

The CN tower was once the world's tallest free standing structure. Now it is very tall telecommunications tower that you can do the "edgewalk" on if you are brave.

I confess I haven't been here yet but everyone I know who has gone loved it. This includes parents of three year olds and cynical twenty-somethings, so clearly there's something for everyone.

High Park is beautiful, especially if you happen to be here when the cherry trees are blooming. There's a café and a tiny zoo, and Shakespeare in the park runs most evenings in the summer.
