Great food and atmosphere - sports bar that plays music videos on all the screens when there aren't sports on. Also has a separate pool table area and dining room for a sit down meal.
Known for their gumbies! (essentially just lightly fried boneless chicken strips in your choice of sauce - I highly recommend the honey bbq, honey buffalo, or the buffalo sauce).

The downtown area is right on the waterfront, so its a great place to go for a walk along the water. Prescott Park is a great place to relax, wander or catch a show during the summer months. Portsmouth is a very historic town, settled in the early 1600's, and has a very old feel to it. There are historic buildings all spreadout through the town and the historic North Church (1855) is right in the middle of Market Square.
