The rose and crown is our favourite in Ulverston, which is a little further afield but only 25 minutes by car. Their food is fantastic, with the ribs or mussels being our family favourite, and also has more of an atmosphere at the weekend. Highly recommend booking in advance!

The farmers arms serve great food and good drinks, with outside seating too. We would recommend booking in advance as it’s generally quite busy.
