Not only is the coffee delicious, but the mission of the owners to create a community space where all feel welcome puts this place over the top. Try the "Carmel on the Bluff"...our favorite for obvious reasons.

Food scene
If you like elevated pub fare, try this place. Great menu items that are not your normal pizza, burger, etc. We recommend the black bean sliders and Thai pizza, but if you're REALLY hungry and have someone to share, try the nacho tower!

"Vermillion's Best Pizza"...located downtown, R-Pizza has a fantastic menu of pizza and paninis, and their famous Super Hoagie. Easy ordering online, but they have a small dining room as well. If you're here on Thursday, they buy food at the Farmer's Market and make a fresh "Market Pizza".

Outdoor adventures
One of the best golf courses in the state (and that's not just our opinion), The Bluffs has 18 challenging yet fun holes for all levels of skill. They have push carts and gas carts available for rent, and on weekends they have a beverage cart :)

Great walking trails where you can find Morel mushrooms in the spring and gorgeous fall leaves if you time it right. There is a nice picnic shelter and a boat ramp to launch your boat.

Home of Prentis Plunge, the new outdoor waterpark with lazy river. Perfect spot to cool off in summer (pool opens at 1pm, 8am-11am for lazy river water walking), or host a family gathering at Prentis Park picnic shelter.

The largest collection of historic musical instruments in the United States, the National Music Museum is undergoing a multi-million dollar expansion and renovation, opening again in October 2021. On any given day you can view Stradivarius and Amati violins, violas and cellos, as well as famous instruments from pop culture like BB King's "Lucille" guitar.

They are a non-profit, so please support their mission to bring cultural opportunities to Vermillion. They are open Thursday to Sunday, but are available Monday - Wednesday for private events and theater rental.
