This is the north entrance to Canaveral National Seashore and is just a mile south of Sunrise House. There are five parking lots and the park does fill up some days. Please be aware that Lot 5 is clothing optional.

Just 10 minutes north. A different vibe from our beach. The beach here is wider and flatter, and you can drive and park on the beach for a fee. They sometimes have beach 5K run/walk events, which are a lot of fun.

While Kennedy Space Center is about an hour's drive, you can walk over to our beach and get a great view of KSC launches. This picture was taken from Apollo Beach, just down the road. After the rocket disappears, wait just a minute or two and you'll hear the low rumble of the rocket's takeoff. It never gets old for us! Google "Kennedy Space Center Launch Schedule" and get the "Space Coast Launches" app to see the schedule.

There is good fishing in the lagoon and on the ocean. These are some local guided fishing experiences. We've not tried any of them, so if you go, let us know how it goes!
