Food scene

This is an awesome breakfast place! Walk down the hill and enjoy the rustic decor and old-school service. I recommend the breakfast burrito.

Just down the road in Lakeside, this is an excellent brew-pub. Great food and great ambiance. Get the blue-cheese fries!

Sightseeing

This is a place where many locals go to swim. It's an easy walk down to Hwy 93 and then along the walking path. The swimming area starts much farther to the east than the boat launch area. It's a nice gravel beach and rocks for kids to play on. A favorite for a lazy summer afternoon.

Newly expanded, this is an excellent place to go swimming on a hot afternoon, or just lay in the sun. Bring a picnic and a blanket!

Just down from the post office, is the entrance to a local Rails-to-Trails path. It's next to the old steam engine. It's a fantastic place to go for a walk, jog, or bike ride. The trail goes all the way to Kalispell, and connects to the trail up Hwy 2.
