An old mining town in the mountains east of Prescott 25 miles or so. Now a vibrant artist community full of good eats and sightseeing. A must see just due to the fact that it's perched on the side of a steep hill.....

The 'Gateway To The Grand Canyon', it is called. We like to go there just to wander the streets, shop and eat at one of good restaurants or bars. A quaint old Western town.

A wonderful little western town. Founded in 1864 as a mining town, it became the AZ State capital (twice). Famous western characters such as Doc Holiday, Wyatt Earp and Virgil Earp lived here in the late 1800's.
