Sightseeing in Nambucca
Nambucca Heads is a great daytrip. The main street has the most amazing mosaic which stretches 100 metres and around the corner, in front of the Police station. Under the Sea theme, with octopus, fish, crocodiles ... imaginatively created from chipped crockery and tile fragments.
Go to the mouth of the Nambucca River and see the seawall, with its family friendly graffiti.

If you are travelling with little children, this beach is perfect. The sheltered southern side is accessed easily at several points from the large car park. A modern amenities block is handy for de-sanding before you go home. Did we mention the boat ramp? It also looks to have some interesting snorkelling areas around the headland. Very beautiful.
