Food scene

Closest brewery to the guest suite and our favorite local brewery. Walkable from the house or a short drive. Check their website for food trucks/live music. If they happen to have King of Hop on tap you have to give it a try. Ramble On IPA, Double Platinum, Grateful and Northern Lights are some of our favs. Family friendly, pets allowed outside. To walk there you can either use the trail behind the house or the way I usually take is down Park Ridge Drive and hang a right onto a short trail that puts you on a friendly neighbor's driveway. You'll see a small sign welcoming pedestrians to use it so no need to feel uncomfortable.

Rotating cast of food trucks and great beer. They carry wine, seltzers and cider as well. Hop Drone is one of my favs, can be pretty crowded on the weekends, but there's lots of space to spread out. Pets allowed inside and out, family friendly, great views of Bucks Elbow and surrounding mountains. Often has live music, lots of cool hang out spots. Quick 10 minute drive.

Old timey country store run by friendly folks that make a great hamburger and have some other tasty food options. Just down the road from Stinson Vineyards and Grace Estate Winery. If you’re visiting one of those wineries it’s not a bad idea to stop by for some food in case the wineries don’t have a food truck or if you just want some different options.

One of the few breakfast spots near the cabin and they happen to have great food/service. Check their hours because they are only open briefly for breakfast. Excellent starting point if you’d like to visit the breweries and other attractions in the valley.

New TNB location opened in the old Wild Wolf Brewery location. Same great beer as the other TNB locations, great food and atmosphere. The humus plate and burgers are awesome. You can book a private gazebo with a fire pit, reserve some axe throwing lanes, and check out their bourbon too.

Absolutely beautiful and spectacular, this trail meanders and rolls through typical eastern hardwoods and around the reservoir. The trail is very easy to follow and is well marked with a couple of other trails interconnecting to reach down to the water or to go a bit higher, but they all reconvene at this main trail.

Indian Summer Guide Service - Horseback Riding

Come explore Devils Backbone Brewery’s nearly 100 acre patch of earth. The brewery is at the foot of Wintergreen Mountain just down the road from the Blue Ridge Cabin so there are beautiful mountain views throughout the roughly one and a half hour ride. After the ride, you can make your way to the Basecamp Brewpub for some killer food and award-winning lagers. There are several options for reservations from indoor tables to outdoor fire pits. There are other venue options so check out their website or reach out to us for more info.
