Food Scene
This tiny BBQ place is SO popular and has been featured on national TV shows etc… The line is often out the door. But the food is amazing. Our favorites are the Baby Back Ribs and the Brisket Reuben Sandwich. Hint: You should walk here as the parking is tight. I also recommend that you order online in advance.

We drive here at least once a week to buy bread, it is that good. My husband is on a quest to find the BEST croissant in the world, and he truly believes this tiny place in the middle of nowhere has better croissants than the finest bakeries in Paris. (Owner is award winning baker, trained in Paris). Another favorite is the flakey cinnamon roll, chocolate hazelnut cake or the mixed berry tart. They serve food too but we love the pastries best. Great place to sit and relax with a cappuccino. NOTE: Only open Thursday to Sunday and usually crowded. (Call ahead to reserve your croissants – plain, chocolate, almond)

Historic dining room in 18th century building, main feature is huge fireplace. Food is not spectacular but the very historic “New England” charm can make up for it. (Also good for breakfast).
Hint: You can usually find a “Buy One Entrée Get One Free” coupon on their website or in the free Sturbridge Times newspaper.

A local success story, started a few years ago by a few guys in their barn. This beer got so famous people were coming from far away and waiting in line for hours to get their hands on Tree House's beers, like Julius, Green and Doppelganger IPAs. They recently opened a brand new huge facility with brewhouse, retail store, tastings, event pavilion etc…
