World renowned for its right hand point break. When ‘The Point’ is breaking, expect to see the world’s best taking it on. The headland is a great place to view the annual whale migration, with views for miles.

A freshwater lake stained by the tea trees that line its banks. This favourite shady spot is a great family swimming and picnic area with easy access to the surf just north of the village in Lennox Head.

This beautiful lookout (named after the former leader of the NSW Liberal party), plays host to one of the most recognisable and magical views along the coastal roads of NSW. The recently completed path enables people to walk along a concrete path from the centre of town right up to Pat Morton via the Point. With scenes out to Broken Head and beyond Cape Byron, this is a wonderful spot to sit, observe and breathe in the day. Watch dolphins play amongst the surfers, search for whales (May – November), gaze up at the hang gliders soaring above or just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Right in the heart of Lennox Head’s main street you will find a well set up children’s playground with equipment including two swings, two slides as well as a bubbler and a dog’s water trough. The whole beach can be viewed from the bark fence which makes it quite amazing. The playground is shaded and there are a number of picnic tables and grassy spots to sit down and relax. There is a fantastic café right next to the park and the fish and chip shop is only a few meters away making this the perfect place for a lazy late lunch on a sunny day, anytime of the year!
