Resort
“You can access the beach from within the grounds. It's perfect for dog walking and you can walk to the harbour of Watchet, looking for fossils along the way. The rocks at Doniford Bay consist of Lower Lias and Triassic beds, and contain some superb white ammonites, which can be found in the rocks on the foreshore. There are also a number of well-preserved brachiopods and bivalves.”
