American Restaurant

“A gem of a place. Looks like nothing special, but their food is fantastic. Everything made on premise. From ice cream to fried chicken (the best) to terrific burgers and the best pasta bolognese (outside of my own, of course). Also a great spot for brunch!”

Library
“This lovely building on a hill is one of our best kept secrets. The library houses an unbelievable amount of information and documents on the American Revolution and is available to anyone to visit for research or enjoy. Many scholars study here. An added attraction are the mostly free programs offered several times a year, mostly presented by authors of various books written during this time frame. Visit their website for more information. It’s best to have a reservation for their programs. ”

Trail
“This trail stretches from New Brunswick NJ to Trenton and then on to Frenchtown. It's a really peaceful walk or bike ride. We live by the part that will take you up into Lambertville and New Hope. It's a 12 mile hike to the towns.”

Route
“Good for hiking, jogging and biking, the total length of this trail is 70 miles. Head north toward Bull's Island and Frenchtown or south to Lambertville. There are two circuit hikes returning on the Pennsylvania side of the river - one crossing over to New Hope at Lambertville and the other crossing to Lumberville at Bull's Island.”
