“Imagine a giant sea pool ... Clovelly is a great place to snorkel and swim. An easy walk either up Arden St or via Gordons Bay/Coastland, its popular with families. Its patrolled, has parking, change facilities/showers, and a beach-side cafe. Dont go at low tide or very high tide, as it can be difficult to access in and out. There is a natural reef/rock barrier at the mouth of the inlet, so no major issues re sharks etc. There is some lovely sea life in these waters.”

“This walk starts at Bondi and meanders along the coastline for 4 more beaches: Tamarama, Bronte, Clovelly, and Coogee. Take your time, stop for a swim or a sunbake, and end with lunch or dinner in Coogee. From there you can either walk back the same way you came, or hop on a bus to Bondi Junction and then a bus back to Bondi (333 or 379). The walk one way from Bondi to Coogee is about 4 miles / 6.4km.”
