Outlet Mall
“Delaware has no sales tax. That's right, absolutely no sales tax. Take the advantages of shopping at an already low-priced outlet mall (there are 3 separate areas), remove the need to cover tax, and add in regular sales and special events, and you'll find yourself walking away with some killer deals.”

Theme Park
“It has fun in the name. What more could you ask for? Funland is an indoor/outdoor amusement park on the boardwalk. There are plenty of rides and amusements, as well as food options. Great for ages 15 and below.”

Pub

“The place that started it all... Dogfish Head Brewings and Eats is where Sam Calagione's beer empire began. While the original brewpub was demolished in 2017, it has been rebuilt into a bigger, better facility with live music. IF you can get a table (that's a big IF), definitely try the wood fire pizzas. Bring a growler or two to get filled, or if you don't want to stand in line, go to the retail store outside and get them filled there. They do offer free samples, so be sure to ask. ;-)”

Water Park
“While it's not actually a beach, if you're looking for water fun, Jungle Jim's is worth checking out. Jim's is a local mainstay and has some incredible water features that beaches don't, like water slides, a lazy river, a kiddie pool and pirate ship. Be sure to look for coupons on their web site.”

Movie Theater
“What to do on a rainy day? Go see a movie. Movies at Midway has Delaware's first stadium seating theater with Dolby Atmos. Movies here are generally commercial run and big screen blockbusters.”

Seafood Restaurant

“Super restaurants for seafood and oysters, Best happy hour in town BEST to get there early. It is not uncommon for a line to start forming a half hour before opening. Happy hour is 3- 5pm . Oysters are always fresh and ice cold. Drink specials are great and their happy hour specials are generous portions of food beyond what you would expect for the price.”

“Great old school beach bar. There's no place quite like it. Packed during the weekend with partiers old and young. I like the Bloody Mary. The food is surprisingly good too. Bands in the afternoon and night. Check the website.”

Shopping Mall
“You cannot miss the outlets, they are all up and down Route 1. Go to the Visitor's Center and pick up a coupon booklet. If you have Triple A, this is often free(otherwise it's $5). Also, download the Tanger Outlet app, there are coupons there, also. ”

Sublocality Level 1
“High Tech Hideaway is the same distance from Rehoboth Beach as it is to Lewes Beach. While Rehoboth Beach has Rehoboth Avenue and a sprawling commercial scene, Lewes is definitely more subdued. Parking here is metered as well. Much definitely more quiet and with a great view of ships passing the waterway to Cape May, NJ.”

Bowling Alley
“Great for a rainy day. Lefty's is a place to hang out indoors. They have a decent sized arcade and the bowling is fun. There is food conveniently located inside with many options for both vegetarians and gluten free! Great place. ”
