Amusement Park
“Yawgoo has a small water park in the summer and skiing and sledding in the winter. If you are used to "real" mountains the skiing will seem silly to you but if you need a place for some beginning activity or some sledding for an afternoon check them out.”

Park
“Before you leave Narragansett, hike out to Black Point. Kids will have fun searching for crabs and other sea life in tidal pools, and the views from this spot will make you feel as if you've left Rhode Island behind. There is a small parking area at the trailhead on Ocean Road, about three miles south of Narragansett Town Beach. An easy hike of less than a mile leads to this rocky spot on the coast where you can fish or picnic.”

Beach
“ It is further than Scarborough beach. Matunuck has decent facilities, not as extensive as Scarborough which is also true for the parking. Sometimes there is red algae or tide on Matunuck so that is why I prefer the East Beach or Scarborough. However if you are down this way, Matunuck Oyster Bar has the best seafood (and biggest lines resulting) in the state. ”
