“If you'd like to experience a little taste of Tuscany in Scholls, Oregon this is where you want to go. Ponzi Vineyard has award-winning wine and stunning views. The tasting room is a good 1.5 hike up the road or a mere minutes by car.”

“What could possibly be better than a freshly picked bouquet of lavender? So close, you can smell the lavender when the breeze is just right. Stunning views and a hardy welcome from the Carlson's await you.”

“Just up the road a few minutes is a wonderful tree farm where we often take and hour or two to hike around. It is free and easy terrain and a great place to relax in nature. There are cabins to rent and picnic area as well as a campfire pit for groups.”

“Directions: Head South on Lincoln Street. Turn Right on Division St. Take your first LEFT onto Pine St. Take a RIGHT onto Sunset Boulevard and go .3 miles. Turn LEFT on Ladd Hill Road, go 1.6 miles. Turn RIGHT onto Parrett Mt. Road. Go STRAIGHT at Y (don't take Haugen Road by mistake). After 1.5 miles, you will reach the small parking lot/trailer pull out on your RIGHT, in a wooded area. Look for the CPRD rules and regulations trailhead sign, in the northwest corner of the lot. This is the only access point to this trail where horse trailer parking/loading/unloading is available. Follow edge of field into woods and trails become more distinguished. Hours are daily, 7 AM to dusk.”
