Beer Bar

“My favorite bar in Barcelona, it's a super lively place with lots of young people, fusball, dart, pool-tables and BIG towers of beer for cheap! The place looks like an old, rustic barn but is located in the heart of the city!”

Cocktailbar

“"The oldest cocktail bar in Barcelona" (or so they claim), at the top of La Rambla, was founded in 1933 by Miquel Boadas, a Cuban born Catalan who bravely introduced the previously unseen American style concept at a time of Republican rule. The tiny place has hardly changed since then and is now ran by his daughter, Maria. As it was back then, it is famed for its daiquiris and bow-tied bartenders. The cocktail list is also extensive..”

Cocktailbar

“Entering this bar feels like taking a trip to the Caribbean. The atmosphere and the decor—all warm wood and maritime references—puts you in the mood to share a daiquiri with Hemingway himself. The owner, Juanjo, opened it as a little brother to iconic bar Boadas. He’s put together an amazing program. You can easily get carried away there. Of course the rum drinks take center stage, so try a daiquiri or a mulata or some other classic rum-based delight. Juanjo is also looking to revive little-known recipes. A clear example is the penicillin, a new classic made with blended whiskey, lemon juice, honey, ginger, and a touch of peated whiskey.”

Hotel Pool
“If there’s a golden rule for any savvy traveler in Barcelona, it has to be ‘don’t eat or drink on the Rambla’. However, we’ll make an exception for La Isabella and its rooftop terrace, which enables you to enjoy a cocktail and 360º panoramic views of the city from above the Rambla. The terrace has numerous cosy sofas as well as a chic bar and dining area. Located on the roof of the famous Hotel 1898, the terrace has a stylish lounge feel and offers some of the best views in town.”

“I recommend you this bar/restaurant which preserves the modernist style of its entrance and bar. There you can eat the typical Catalan bread with tomato and different kind of sausages.”
