Waterfall
“About one kilometer outside town the trail to the bottom waterfall starts. It’s a 20 minute hike along the river, sometimes a bit slippery. It’s a beautiful spot to relax and go for a swim. There is also a trail leading up to the other two waterfalls, it’s quite steep and can be slippery. The alternative to access the upper falls is from a trail that starts next to the Butterfly garden uphill. This trail is private and they charge 1,000 colones for access.”
