Madscenen i Poulsbo

“Home of the "Poulsbo Bread". The donuts and baked goods are fresh and delicious. Avoid the huge cookie smiley faces. They look good but the taste- not so good (according to my kids ;)”

“Poulsbo is a small town with a distinctly Scandinavian feel. Its about a 25 minute drive north and just across the Agate Passage on the mainland. You should explore its waterfront main street with lots of great bars, shops and restaurants as well as its harbor area that retains some of its fishing industry heritage. Poulsbo also has access to larger grocery stores just a little further out of town for stocking up on supplies.”

Cafe
“The oldest coffee shop in town (about 24 years), the Poulsbohemian was around before coffee became cool. It may not be the best coffee in town, but the locals love it for its charm and atmosphere. I would argue that it has one of the best views of Liberty Bay, and a friendly (although at times sassy) staff. Give the lavender lemonade a try, and be sure to check out the enormous scarf that locals have been adding to for years. ”
