“The Beltline is an old rail path that is being converted into pedestrian and bicycle paths. The main route will one day be a circle around the entire city. For now it is in segments, with the first major completed portion being the Eastside Trail. When the weather is nice, especially after work and weekend, it is almost too crowded. But it is great to see everyone outside taking advantage of it. You can walk, run, walk your dog, bring your bike, or find places to rent bikes. There are many options for food, drinks, and parks along the path as well.”

“Awesome food + affordable drinks on the Beltline. If you want to enjoy your trip like a authentic local ATLien (and "Beltliner") you will want to try Bantam Pub's! Their ever-changing menu puts a Southern spin on New American cuisine. Bantam's Staples include BBQ Pork (they even have at annual pig roast), Duck Legs, Bratwursts, and the infamous Bantam Burger and Bantam Chicken Sandwich. They also have a Weekend Brunch, which would be the perfect opportunity for you to do some great people-watching of those on the Beltline. The outside eating area has large tables to accommodate large crowds and an outdoor fireplace. They are a great place to gather with the ATL locals. Dog-Friendly too!”
