“You've probably already heard of Eventide because it's the most highly rated place in Portland, in this case believe the hype. There will most likely be a long wait, so prepare for that before you go, it's worth it. If you're visiting in the off season and visit at unusual hours you may get lucky enough to be seated immediately (it's happened to us a couple of times). You must try the brown butter lobster roll, you won't regret it. They also have a killer late night happy hour if you need a bite after drinking in the Old Port.”

“With great food, an amazing bar, and a fantastic wine list, Drifter's Wife is recognized as one of Portland's best restaurants for good reason. Get a reservation (available via Resy on their website) far in advance if you want a table at on the weekend. In July and August weekends are usually booked out 3 weeks in advance. If you are in town on a weekday tables are much easier to come by.”

“One of our favorites in town. Always rotating delicious wine list and great cocktails. Go on Tapas Monday for a real neighborhood moment. Nearly everything is cooked over a wood fire!”
