You will join me and my trained dog Gemma, and my highly experienced truffle hunter fellow Santo, and his trained dog Vasco to get an introduction to the magical and mysterious world of truffles. You will be exploring the art of finding these gastronomic treasures! - 8.00 am we will meet in Turin and we will take you to our secret places - out of the city in the forest. -we will have a coffee break in the village where we find truffles. - we will give you an introduction to truffles, where they grow, qualities and rules about searching them. - we will be walking and searching for truffles, (white or black depending on the season) in the forest with the help of our beloved, talented dogs Gemma and Vasco. You will actively take part in the truffle hunt, learn how to recognise truffles and how to dig them up - we will have a lunch in a typical Italian trattoria. Let's start with an interesting visit to a small peculiar wine cellar hidden among the beautiful hills of Monferrato and a regenerating walk on its vineyards and olive groves. We get to know an heroic viticulture and the story of Tommaso, the eccentric vigneron that produces wines with a well-defined and structured personality using new techniques (such as essential oils and microorganisms on the vineyards). Wine laboratory - Time to act! Learn the vigneron' secrets and follow at least 3 of your 5 senses to combinate diffent wine typologies and find the perfect match for you! All hand made of course, as the vigneron does. Each person will receive the technical tools and the necessary advices, as well as support during the whole experience, to work with 3 different wines. Try and test the combinations to make your own blend, find the taste and smell you like more. Once the wine is crafted it's time for you to proceed with the bottling, corking, sealing and labeling of your wine! The result is a unique combination created by you.
