Pharmacy
“It is one of the biggest pharmacies in Paris! And hopefully the only that is ALWAYS open. And best thing: you could walk there , it will take 10min! Take the Boulevard Saint Denis heading at your left, towards Place de Republique.”

Book Store
“I always enjoy the unexpected and diverse mix of books, magazines, and ephemera at this contemporary bookshop and gallery in the North Marais. The shop’s selection in English and French is sharp and eclectic. The owner has been curating for nearly 20 years, and that shows. New items are added almost daily, and twice a week the owner plays host to concerts or mini art exhibits. There’s always something to discover, whether you take home a book or not. ”

Vinbar
$$
“When I’m not reading with a cup of coffee, I may very well be reading with a glass of wine, and this part wine bar, part bookshop is a comfortable, cozy place to do it. I like to browse for books, then hang out for a while with a glass from their extensive wine list and—if I’m lucky—catch one of their regular author readings. End your night here: It’s the only bookstore-wine bar that’s open until 2 am in all of France! It tends to be one of those places where people stay super-late, drink too much, and talk about books.”

“Marant's style is easily recognisable in her ethno-babe brocades, blanket-like coats and decorated sweaters. Her Etoile line is a particular favourite among young trendies and artsy Parisiennes.”

Clothing Store

“This store is a real experience! You have a large array of niche perfumes...and then 147 video screens and sliding wooden panels hiding curated clothes from Gucci, Rick Owens, and Saint Laurent. Really, though, this is where I splurge on an “It Bag,” like the latest Fendi “baguette” style that goes under your arm. I find it interesting to mix tableware with fashion, but they do it here by carrying the famous Fornasetti plates and jars adorned with the various visages of opera singer Lina Cavalieri. It’s not that easy to find them—and they are not cheap, either!”
