Buddhist Temple
“On the northern coast of Koh Samui is the famous Big Buddha shrine. Probably Samui's most well known landmark, the 12-metre high golden Buddha can be seen from several kilometres away. Inside the surrounding temple are many different shrines and other smaller ornate Buddhas. There is also a small market selling a wide range of lucky charms and other souvenirs, alongside numerous food stalls.”

“Art Samui gives visitors an experience that offers the best of arts as well as a glimpse into art pieces that have redefined the art scene in Thailand. The art museum thrives on a type of art called Trick Art. Just as the name suggests, this form of art tricks the human brain into believing that the picture presented is in 3D. ”

“WAT GUAN YU Mr. Virach Pongchababnapa, a Sino-Thai resident of Koh Samui, had the crazy project of building a bronze statue 16 meters high, worth 20 million Baht, which is becoming one of the big new Tourist attractions of Koh Samui. The statue represents Guan Yu, a Chinese warlord living in the second century. The completed project will include a building to house a local "Chinatown" with restaurants, shops, and Chinese medicine practitioners. The sanctuary is also used for weddings. ”

Museum
“A temple which is located deep inland on one of the highest mountains on the island. At the very top you can find an antiques museum, a huge golden Buddha, statues of the Chinese horoscope, a reclining Buddha, a laughing Buddha, and a pink statue resembling a cow elephant. In good weather there is a breathtaking view from here. However, access to the temple is very poor. Unless you’re adventurers who want to go on foot, it’s better to rent a quad bike or arrange a guide, who will drive you to the place in an off-road vehicle. Szabo, Pavel.
