This high spec luxury loft apartment comprises of over 1600sft of open plan vaulted red brick loft living. Solid hard wood flooring throughout the apartment with lighting troughs and original feature columns and steel work. The apartment has been tastefully furnished throughout. The apartment is excellently situated to explore the West Coast of Scotland and beyond, those who wish to take the train can do so easily as the Port Glasgow Train stations is a 7mins walk away, from here you can travel easily to major destinations throughout Scotland. Open Plan Living Area / Kitchen / Dining: The entrance to the living area is framed by a stunning carved door and frame which provides the picture perfect framework to the stunning views the apartment offers. Perfect during both sunrise and sunset the living area is lit up when the weather affords and during the winter months the snow-topped mountains are visible.   • Hvad en stor finde denne lejlighed var, helt storslået og moderne, et helt nyt hjem hjemmefra. Jeg havde brug for et sted at bo, fordi jeg havde en jobsamtale i Glasgow, så jeg vælger denne ejendom ... Jeg er så glad for, at jeg gjorde det, jeg kunne ikke have ønsket et bedre sted at tilbringe nogen tid ... Meget komfortabel og rummelig, og interiøret er så moderne og elegant. Lejligheden er simpelthen perfekt, du kan ikke fejl det på nogen måde. Fantastisk beliggenhed tæt på alt og noget. Med den smukkeste udsigt over floden. Jeg elskede det faktum, der er en Costa kaffe lige rundt om hjørnet (jeg er lidt af en coffeeholic) og 24 HR Tesco supermarked var også meget praktisk ... Swimmingpoolen og saunaen er også meget rart, og lige tilføjet hvor behageligt mit ophold var. Jeg ville helt sikkert blive her igen i fremtiden uden tvivl ...     The cottage has a stunning view over the River Clyde and is situated on the coast road between Gourock and Inverkip. With a comfortable double sofa bed and a day bed which converts into either a single or double bed, the Wee Cottage can accommodate two, three or four guests. We offer Wi-Fi, a 32" HD TV and USB charging points together with a fully equipped kitchen stocked for breakfast with fresh bread, porridge, cereal, coffee, tea, and milk.

  • Wee Cottage er perfekt beliggende med fantastisk udsigt. det er på en hovedvej, og der er nogle vejstøj, der kan forstyrre nogle mennesker. Faciliteterne var staffagefarver på hyggelige varme og omhyggeligt indrettede seng komfortabel med moderne føler og dejlige varmt brusebad. Tilføjet bonus er morgenmadsprodukter, selv om der er butikker lokalt. Vil meget anbefale, og vil reservere igen.

    The Coach House, Gourock, is located in a quiet area a few minutes walk from the Main Street with shops, pubs, restaurants and the train station. The Coach House is a light, bright, modern space in a converted period building. It includes a living room (with single sofa bed), mezzanine sleeping space (double), kitchen, bathroom and laundry room. There is private parking, and outside seating space. Gourock is a convenient base for travel to Glasgow, Ayrshire, Argyll and the Western Isles.
    This is a unique self contained period building which has been extensively modernised. It is a bright, light space with a mezzanine sleeping area (with double bed) just above the living room. (Please note, the bedroom is accessed by a spiral stair case, and it is not full height. 5ft high.) There is also a single sofa bed (from made) in the living room. It has a full kitchen with a smeg range cooker, microwave and fridge. The bathroom has a full bath and shower over. The Coach House has it's own private access through a driveway, and space outside for BBQ or seating in summer. There is a laundry/store room with a washing machine, drying rail, iron and ironing board. The house has central heating which keeps it cosy in the colder weather. We are pet friendly.
    Gourock is a lovely little town on the Clyde Coast. It boasts boutique gift shops, local pubs and cafes. One of the last remaining outdoor pools in Scotland is a popular attraction in the summer months. (5 minutes form the Coach House). The Gourock and Greenock esplanades provide long uninterrupted walks by the stunning Clyde coast. Gourock is ideally located for anyone wishing to explore the West Coast of Scotland. The Dunoon Ferry leaves from Gourock which allows you to access the West Coast of Scotland, and from the neighbouring towns of Wemyss Bay, Largs or Ardrosssan, you can travel onto the islands of Bute, Cumbrae and Arran. The Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park will be an attraction for walkers. Gourock Golf Club boasts some of the most scenic golf holes in the country.

    Situated in a traditional tenement building in the heart of Gourock, the flat has views of the River Clyde and is less than a five minute walk from rail, bus and ferry links as well as a great selection of local shops, bars and restaurants. The flat is perfect for a solo traveller or a couple who are visiting the area. It's also a perfect base to explore Glasgow, Edinburgh, Loch Lomond and nearby islands from.
    The flat is in a quiet residential area in the very centre of Gourock.

  • Lejligheden var meget hyggelig og ren. Vi havde et fantastisk ophold, rejser på eftermiddagen og slap af foran det store tv om aftenen. Det var også dejligt beliggende i Gourock. Et supermarked er lige rundt om hjørnet, og dejlige caféer med en fantastisk udsigt over vandet er også tæt på lejligheden.

  • Denne lejlighed er meget rummelig og ligger i en ideel beliggenhed i Gourock. Parkering på vejen var let, og vi var altid i stand til at parkere lige uden for lejligheden. Togstationen var inden for let gåafstand og den større by Greenock er i nærheden. Gourock så smuk ud i solskinnet, og der er dejlige vandreture, færger at fange, og det er også meget tæt på Trossachs. Vi tilbragte en dag i Falkirk på Falkirk Wheel og se Kelpies. Køkkenet havde godt udstyr med udstyr, og vi nød at slappe af foran det store tv om aftenen efter vores hektiske dage. Lejligheden havde faktisk nogle gode udsigter over Clyde. Jeg elskede det og vil vende tilbage.

  • Mark's sted er lyst og rummeligt og meget rent. Jeg elskede virkelig placeringen - det havde alt, hvad jeg kunne have behov for. Butikker, caféer, pubber og restauranter inden for nem gåafstand, ligesom togstationen og færger til Kilcreggan og Dunoon. Mark var en fornøjelse at kommunikere med og gav os meget nyttige oplysninger om lejligheden og også det lokale område. Ville bestemt bo her igen!

    Compact but very cosy modern apartment within an end of a hillside cul-de-sac in Gourock with spectacular sweeping views over Firth of Clyde, Loch Long, Holy Loch and mountains of Argyll. Very quiet. Bedrooms face the rear of the building where the countryside wilderness starts and the only night time disturbance is likely to be the slight noise of an odd deer venturing into the garden grounds.
    Please note that own transport is advisable. Although there is a public bus service at the main road at the bottom of the hill, some walking uphill from the bus is needed, which might be not suitable for young children and/or frail people. Discounted taxi service with a licensed Inverclyde taxi operator/driver could be arranged on request. The primary maximum amount of guests is four persons. However, a fifth person could be accommodated on a folding bed in the lounge, if required. I do believe in maintaining a healthy environment in the flat and keep the number of soft furnishings to a bare necessary minimum. It means no carpet floor coverings, etc., but it helps to keep dust levels as low as possible.
    Inverclyde with its principal towns of Greenock and Gourock boasts plenty of scenic places with spectacular views over water and mountains. Within walking distance from the apartment, there is Gourock-Dunoon ferry offering the fastest route to Argyll from Inverclyde. From Dunoon it is possible to explore the unspoilt mountainous scenery with empty roads of the Cowal peninsula and further afield into Argyll and Highlands proper. A few miles south at Wemyss Bay, there is the ferry linking the mainland with the Isle of Bute. For city lovers, Glasgow with its endless possibilities for shopping, culture and nightlife is only 30 miles to the east.

  • Vi kan grundigt anbefale Gordan og Jenna's lejlighed. Alt er blevet tænkt på, hvilket gør opholdet så behageligt. Der er så mange gode præg rundt om i hele lejligheden, selv ned til en paraply og indkøbsposer. Stedet er pletfrit rent, godt udstyret med dejligt porcelæn og madlavningsgryder, te, kaffe, morgenmadsprodukter, køkkenklude osv osv. - som du kan fortælle var vi meget imponeret.   • Dette var anden gang, vi boede på Gordon og Jenna's sted. Som før var lejligheden meget ren og veludstyret - masser af håndklæder, toiletartikler og et godt brusebad. Vejret var ret koldt og vådt, da vi var i Greenock, og jeg var meget glad for, at opvarmningen i lejligheden fungerede så godt. Lejligheden var hyggelig inden for ca. 5 minutter efter at tænde opvarmningen! Jeg har ikke noget virkelig at tilføje til min første anmeldelse. Jeg håber, at lejligheden er fri, når vi vender tilbage til Greenock!

    Just a short distance from Wemyss Bay Ferry and train station. The house is located along a small private beach road opposite a pretty beach overlooking the Isle of Bute, very scenic. Very private and quiet. Good, safe parking. Very suitable for anyone who has missed the ferry, or wanting to catch an early ferry the next morning. Easy access to the islands, highlands and Ayrshire. Lovely walks. Makes a good base to explore Scotland from. Good road and rail links to Glasgow and Edinburgh.
    The Airbnb property is a very private, quiet, small, first floor studio flat around the rear of the property. The flat does not have sea views but does have views of the pretty, private rear garden. To reach the property you take the drive to the left side of the house where there is plenty of parking. There are two single beds in the room. Single occupancy is £38 for two people it is £56 ( please select 2x guests in the initial search box to show the correct price). The kitchen area is small but has a sink, two hobs, microwave and a fridge. The price also includes a simple, self service breakfast of coffee, tea, cereals, milk and toast which is left in the flat for guests. The bathroom has shower, toilet and basin. Towels provided. Broadband speed 76 mgs. Dogs are welcome but please be aware that two cats live in the downstairs flat and use the same front door but don’t come up to the Airbnb guest studio. Also two small dogs live elsewhere in the property. Last minute bookings accepted.
    Wemyss Bay is a lovely spot with beautiful views across the sea and many lovely local walks. Good restaurants in Inverkip ( Inverkip Hotel and Chartroom)and Largs. Good fish and chip shop in Wemyss Bay. Award winning butchers who also sells ready meals, wine etc Seaview cafe linked to the butchers serves a very good cooked breakfast. Small friendly pub in the station ‘Station Bar’

We are in the centre of Greenock, which is 25 miles from Glasgow City Centre, and only a 5min walk from the main bus station and both Greenock Central and Greenock West train stations.
    Our room has a comfortable main living area with sofa, tv, table, wardrobe space and beds. There is a bathroom with shower, and a kitchen area with microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge and washing machine.
    The property is in a residential area of Greenock and is centrally located to all amenities, close to public transport services.

There are breathtakingly beautiful views and stunning places to explore such as the Lyle Hill for dramatic views of The Clyde, Gourock, with a variety of eateries, pubs, gift shops, art gallery, and fabulous walks along the river front. Additional popular tourist locations in close proximity include Loch Lomond (approx 45 mins drive), The Isle of Bute and Arran accessible with local ferry services, and the City of Glasgow is only 35 mins away.     The setting is perfect for your seaside break. A bus stops at the door, while ferries will take you to the surrounding islands. A short walk from the town for wining and dining and the train to Glasgow. The apartment is roomy with a big kitchen-feel free to cook! There are great cycle routes roundabout and boats dock across the road.
    The Apartment is bright and spacious. The kitchen is really the heart of the place, so please, feel free to bring some ingredients and cook up a storm. The lounge is host to a nice big TV and a great sound system, so enjoy relaxing with a good movie, I have a couple of hundred DVDs too if you need inspired.
    The neighbourhood is very friendly and peaceful. There are beautiful walks and always dog walkers around. Lots of boaty people too, and cyclists, just enjoying life by the sea.

    Fashioned from a former Rope Factory and one of the only surviving buildings from Inverclyde past. The loft is on the corner of the building and
    A 1000 sq ft loft app redolent of a New York loft and simmilarlly an old industrial building which being no longer in use and derelict was repuposed as dweelings. The architect and developer wanted to make the appts unique and decided to make only 32 homes in a building that could fit 88 average sized 2 bed houses. The result is SPACE. Quite honestly until you exoerence whst it is to live in such a large space you couldnt imagine how different it is. It eithers freaks you out or is sublime. Fir me it is sublime. It is my bolthole from oved crowded Glasgow where my 2 bed flat fits inside the raised TV and rumpus room. The 9 18ft windows flood the whole space with light and thry truly allow the best decorator ever known to be appreciated, Nature. From the river to the Trossach and Campsie Hills the vista is what makes this appt just so special.

Lejligheden er beliggende i et fremragende område for at komme overalt i Greenock, og selvom det er lige ved hovedområdet er det meget stille, sikkert og fredeligt. Sengetøj / linned / håndklæder var perfekte og meget komfortable. Jeg blev hos Karen i julen, mens jeg udførte på Beacon Arts og kunne ikke have følt mere hjemme. Karen sætter endda venligt op alle julepyntene. Jeg vil meget anbefale denne lejlighed til nogen opholder sig i området.

    Our flat is nestled in the Countryside of West Scotland.     Kilmacolm is a quiet, calm and friendly little Scottish village with the hustle and bustle of Glasgow and surrounding areas only short drives away. The airport is itself only 20 minutes drive away and is never on a busy route allowing for a quick drive whatever the time. Bridge of Weir, less than ten minutes drive has several cafes, restaurants, take aways and shops. Walks are plentiful on the farm and the Knapps Loch is also only 5 minute drive. The city of Glasgow is within 30 minutes of the farm. A notable attraction in nearby Langbank is Finlaystone House, owned by the Chief of Clan MacMillan and a category A-listed building. The house is privately-owned but its estate is open to the public all year round with a variety of facilities and activities for all ages. Just outside the village of Kilmacolm lies the ruins of 13th century Duchal Castle. Duchal House was built from stone from the ruined castle and is the seat of the current Lord Maclay. Newark Castle formerly lay within Kilmacolm but has been incoporated into nearby Port Glasgow.     Modern open plan interior in an oak framed barn set in a beautiful country estate near Glasgow and overlooking the River Clyde. Walk in shower, full kitchen facilities and washing machine. Tv and wifi. Access to formal gardens and woodlands. Pets are welcome. The apartment is furnished and equipped to a luxury standard. Finlaystone Estate has extensive woodland walks and beautiful gardens and is just 20 minutes from Glasgow and 30 minutes from Loch Lomond.
    The barn is on the upper floor of the Oak Framed building and feels a bit like a large loft. The open plan set up gives it a roomy feel. It has 1 large double bed plus a sofa bed can be made up for an extra guest. Being recently built, the building is well insulated and snug but there is a wood burning stove for extra warmth as well as electrical heating. If you have difficulty with stairs or want a larger barn we have a separately listed one on the ground floor which can take 2 to 6 people in similar style.
    The Estate is 20 minutes from Glasgow and about 12 minutes from the airport, with easy access to places such as Loch Lomond about 30 mins away. Edinburgh is 60 mins by car on a clear run so we are a great base for a few days of Scottish tourism. The world class golf courses of Troon, Prestwick, Gleneagles and Loch Lomond are all within an hour drive and the islands of Bute and Arran are close by also.

  • Hyggeligt, veludstyret indkvartering. Vi elskede solnedgange fra sommerhuset og husets allround hyggelige natur. Vi behøvede ikke at bringe noget som alt, hvad du kunne bede om, er allerede til rådighed. Masser at gøre lokalt. Vi tog færgen over til Bute og Loch Lomond er vel et besøg værd. Luss er smuk, og vi vil anbefale eventyrsporet til dem med små.

  • Dejligt sted, som er godt forsynet med alt, hvad du eventuelt kunne ønske. Dejlige rummelige loungeområde til afslapning på en nat i. De små detaljer af suppen og æg og brød var meget velkomne, og vi brugte alt, hvad der blev leveret og faktisk endte med at bo i mere end vi forventede, fordi vi følte os så hjemme :)

    Built in 1888, Cats Castle sits in two acres on the seaward side of the A814, just beyond the western edge of Dumbarton. The property has wonderful views down the Firth of Clyde. Cats Castle is close to Glasgow, Helensburgh, Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. The castle comprises three reception rooms, all with working fireplaces, a family kitchen, pantry, and five bedrooms, including the turret bedroom on the top floor. Suitable for family holidays or special occasions.
    Cats Castle sits in grounds of about two acres on the seaward side of the A814, just beyond the western edge of Dumbarton. It is close to the conservation village of Cardross and about 6 miles from Helensburgh, one of western Scotland’s most desirable towns. Cardross is a quiet village with a respected primary school, tennis club, bowling club and one of the finest golf courses in west central Scotland. There is also a village store, post office and country pub. Helensburgh is a larger town offering more extensive services. The birthplace of John Logie Baird, the inventor of television, the town now offers an excellent range of local and specialist shops and supermarkets including Waitrose. On the Firth of Clyde, nearby Rhu Marina (8 miles) is one of Scotland’s most popular marinas with excellent facilities and easy access to some of the worlds most testing sailing waters. Loch Lomond is within 7 miles and offers spectacular scenery, pleasant walks, water sports and Loch Lomond Golf Club. Nearby Cameron House Hotel and Spa provides private leisure facilities including a swimming pool, gymnasium and marina.

  • At bo på Cat's Castle er en enestående oplevelse! Vi checket ind og vi fandt ting meget godt forberedt. Så vi skal først takke vores store værter for de fremragende briefinger og de imødekommende gaver! Samlet set nydt vi meget vores ophold på denne rummelige, historiske beliggenhed som en familie på 7 personer fra 3 generationer. Vi følte os lidt hjemme, fordi vi savnede næsten ingenting i køkkenet og omkring. Værelserne har en fantastisk udsigt over bugtenes fantastiske landskab dag og nat. Vi kunne også lide den åbne pejs og den forskellige udsmykning af soveværelser. Alle fandt sin særlige tjeneste her og havde det behageligt. Jeg føler stor respekt for vores værter, der forsøger at bevare og opretholde en sådan ejendom og åbne den for andre mennesker. Det jeg må indrømme er, at vi på en eller anden måde var mistænkelige for den travle vej og rensningsanlægget rundt om hjørnet. Begge var ikke et problem overhovedet for os. Vi ville helt sikkert komme tilbage igen og kunne anbefale det uden undtagelser.

  • Kats slot var det perfekte sted at bo, en smuk bygning inde og ude. Paul og Gemmas opmærksomhed på detaljer gjorde vores ophold så afslappende og behageligt. Placeringen var perfekt, specielt med små børn. Der var masser af plads i haven at spille og 10 minutter væk fra en 24h supermarked og togstation. Vi kunne ikke bede om mere.
