Slot
“Set on a headland with breathtaking views out to sea, Pendennis Castle is one of Henry VIII’s finest coastal fortresses. The picturesque castle has defended Cornwall since Tudor times and played a vital role during the two World Wars. Today, you can experience the sights and sounds of battle, meet costumed characters from Pendennis’ past, look out for enemies, and witness the daily firing of a historic gun (Apr – Oct). Don't miss our fascinating exhibition, 'Fortress Falmouth and the First World War', which examines life at the castle during WW1.”

“Just a few minutes walk down Quarry Hill and on the opposite side of Berkeley Vale. Several screens so usually something to suit your taste. Cheap; and food and drink served in your seat. Another option for a rainy day.”

“The most powerful & iconic gin cocktails in Falmouth. The last time we went there was a choice of over 60 gins with specific botanical accompaniments. Set in a stunning Georgian dining room above the Falmouth Bookshop, its a wonderful place to come after a day of wandering the town. There are large windows that look out over Church Street, I recommend the window seats and a good book! Some evenings there's live music. Ask Dolly for more info, also keep your eyes peeled for Hebe the pearl-wearing labrador. ”
