“If you’re visiting in the winter time, definitely make sure to check out Christmas In The Garden! The Oregon Garden is an 80 acre botanical garden that showcases the diverse beauty of the Pacific Northwest. In the winter, the entire park is covered in spectacular Christmas lights, a farmers market, and an ice skating rink. ”

“Excellent trail system about 8 miles from cabin down Barlow Trail Road. To access the main trailhead, you have to pedal about 3 miles up a paved logging road climbing approximately 2,000'. If you are a beginner or novice, there is a loop around the parking lot and an entry point to Lower Hide and Seek about 1.5 miles up the logging road. Laura's Loop about .5 mile up is nice for beginners, and at .75 TNT/Little Monkey has slopestyle jumps for those wanting to air it out. For more advanced riders there are few options at the top, including my favorite: Communication Breakdown (flow)-Quid Pro Flow (flow)-338(XC)-Two Turntables (fast and tight), Lower Hide and Seek (flow).”

“This park has paved pathways, picnic areas and hiking trails that run along the Salmon River. They have a fish viewing window and you can see the salmon spawning in the river sometimes. There's an interesting topographical map that shows the area really well.”

“This is such a pretty place to go and hang out by the river. You can watch the sun rise if you are so inclined or take a picnic lunch here and find a bench or throw a blanket on the grass and enjoy the river lazily floating by. This is two blocks over and across the street, then you can walk or drive down to the river and park in one of the parking lots.”

“Our local park just 15 minutes away from The Crow's Nest. Hiking, disc golf, horse trails, off leash dog park, Clackamas River access by foot or boat launch. Access to Estacada Lake. Dock fishing, boat fishing (motor or drift), and rafting (summer months) are just a few of your options. Giant property. Beautiful woods, meadows, and everything in between. ”
