The first reef is a short swim of approx. 100 ft. from shore, and I will be guiding you to the magnificent underwater world. All equipment is included and we will meet at the beach. You will explore Batik art with a Malaysian Artist and paint a pre-designed Batik scarf on 100% cotton fabric. No art experience necessary. With at least 48 hours notice you can request a custom design by sending an image for Munirah to prep for your batik painting experience. Guest will be equip with the safest, easy to use water bikes where you just hop on pedal your way thru the blue ocean waters. We will launch from low tide area where the water is calm. Guest will receive quick & easy safety tips & familiarize themselves with the water bikes then off to explore natures best. Guest will then explore the beautiful intracoastal waters Fort Lauderdale has to offer as we pass by kayakers, yachts & paddle borders along the way. GET READY TO BE THE CENTER OF ATTENTION! We will be moving at slow pace then pick it up depending on tide levels, fitness levels etc. Our tours are available weekly from Tuesday thru Sunday. Once arrived at the dock you will board our 24ft Sea Ray boat to start your tour! The captain will take you around Fort Lauderdale by ocean. You will see Las Olas, Millionaire Row, Port Everglade, and have a spectacular skyline view of the city. You will see Fort Lauderdale from a completely different perspective, in a private and luxurious setting.

We’ll meet at Knowles Park right before launching the Jet-Skis for instructions and pre-safety briefing, once in the water we’ll cruise for about 5min on a no-wake zone sightseeing beautiful Mansion’s and Super Yachts on our way to the fast area. Fast area means high speed and adrenaline! Our adventure will take us through Flagler Village, a once an industrial warehouse district, reborn as a center of urban renewal which is now home to dozens of art galleries and studios. During our tour, we will provide you with an opportunity to sample beers, while learning about the rich history of Fort Lauderdale. We will learn about the pioneers who planned and built this city, as well as its continued growth. While at each location, staff members (when available) will take us through a tour of the facility and provide a hands-on educational experience and storytelling about both the location and the libations. Together we will create and paint a batik handkerchief (your choice of designs) while learning about batik techniques and tools from around the world. Whether you're an artist, a newbie, or a textile lover you are sure to learn something new about this ancient textile art of batik. We will start with a short intro to the world of batik where I will introduce you to the tools I use from Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam. That will be followed by an introduction to chemistry in textile dyeing. We'll be painting on a 100% cotton handkerchief mounted on a 10" hoop. Each design is pre-waxed by Munirah. Painting on fabric with dye is very fun, therapeutic, and satisfying. More importantly, this is your time to slow down, relax for 90 minutes, and connect with your inner Bob Ross.
