“Across the bridge from Eau Claire Market, you will find Princess Island Park, which is a great destination during mild and warm weather. You'll find street performers (weekends), ducks looking for handouts, and a great bike path system. Rent some bikes or scooters, and have a great time in this oasis in the city.”

Bridge
“Where thrills and tranquility meet for a fun day at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. Experience Vancouver's oldest and most popular attraction. The Capilano Suspension Bridge is a simple suspension bridge crossing the Capilano River. The current bridge is 140 metres long and 70 metres above the river!!!! "Capilano Suspension Bridge crosses to towering evergreens, cedar-scented rainforest air and Treetops Adventure, 7 suspended footbridges offering views 110 feet above the forest floor. The new Cliffwalk follows a granite precipice along Capilano River with a labyrinth-like series of narrow cantilevered bridges, stairs and platforms and only 16 anchor points in the cliff supporting the structure!" Well worth the price of admission!”

Bridge
“It's touristy but... it is one of the "to dos" on the North Vancouver list. Originally built in 1889, Capilano Suspension Bridge stretches 450 feet (137m) across and 230 feet (70m) above Capilano River. CLIFFWALK is the park’s newest attraction for adrenaline junkies – a cantilevered walkway clinging to the cliff high above Capilano Canyon. Treetops Adventure, seven suspension bridges through the evergreens taking you up to 100 feet (30m) above the forest floor, offers a unique squirrel’s eye perspective of the forest." Cliff House restaurant offers local fare, craft brews and BC wines with a view of the canyon. In December there are lots of Christmas lights and evening seasonal activities. ”
