“This is rustic Bermuda, the way it was before people came. In fact you can see the intials carved by an ancient sailor who was marooned here.”

“A 5 minute walk from our rental! Admiralty House Park is about two miles from Hamilton City and is located at Spanish Point off the North Shore. The property has a historic building, nice park, nature and hiking trails. The trails lead to great ocean view. It also has a beautiful beach called the Clarence Cove. The property was given to the British Royal Navy as a gift by the Bermuda Government in 1800s. The British Navy constructed a state home for their Admirals who were posted at the nearby dockyards. The park also served as a navy hospital once. Admiralty House Park has many old trees & shrubbery, hiking & nature trails, and small beaches. ”

“Astwood Park and Cove is a walk away from Langata Lower. Astwood Park is a lovely stretch of parkland with picnic tables benches, toilet facilities and parking. The cove is known to be one of the most beautiful beaches in Warwick parish. It’s a small and secluded beach surrounded by steep cliffs where the Long tails - White Tailed Tropical birds soar. There is a fairly steep winding trail that goes down to Astwood cove from the park above but the hike is well worth the reward you finally get. It's a perfectly romantic beach and ideal for couples.  ”

“Out at the west end, Daniels Head forms part of what is known as 'Nine Beaches'. Quiet and beautiful; one of the best places to watch for turtles. Check out the eco houses on stilts (long abandoned but still photogenic).”

“A short walk away from Langata Lower is Southshore Park. It is a nature reserve stretching across Southampton and Warwick Parishes. It has been designated as a national park since 1990. It starts at the eastern end of Warwick Long Bay and the western end of Horseshoe Bay Beach. The entire stretch is about 1.25 miles.    The parkland has sandy walking trails along limestone cliffs and dunes many are just above the beach level. There are large spans of grassy areas as well on the way that are great for picnics. Many locals use the pathways for their daily fitness, be it a run or a walk. ”

“Church Bay Park is literally a few steps (a 2 minute walk from your door). It is great for snorkeling, swimming and watching the majestic longtails sore along the shoreline. ”
