Park
“How about a local favorite!! Cool off at this 20 min away secret! A very nice and well maintained walking route. It is an entirely elevated walking path through the wetlands. Get your work out in, walk in a single direction or 2 mile round trip. Then float down in the cool spring water! There is parking lots at both ends but the north lot would be used for the canoe/kayak launch. There are several swimming docks along the creek and several sitting areas. It is an enjoyable time. ”

Resort
“The park is home to a several different facilities for recreation and activity purposes. The park is home to five different beach access points, the three primary points on the gulf side of the park, and two additional, smaller access points on the Santa Rosa Sound side of the park. Two of these five access points also have diving reefs for snorkeling and scuba diving The park has a roughly one mile long path for walking, running, and bicycling. In addition, the park has a dozen pavilions with picnic tables and coal-fueled stoves, for picnics and outdoor meals. All five beach access points have public restrooms. Located at the Marine Park is the Marine Sanctuary. This project created near shore artificial reefs in Santa Rosa Sound and the Gulf of Mexico off Navarre Beach. Our volunteers continue to inform the public about the economic, environmental, and educational benefits of reef programs and making Navarre Snorkelicious. Near-shore reefs allow people of all skill levels to easily view marine life and ecosystems inhabiting the reefs by traveling only a few hundred feet off-shore. These reef sites offer an easy and inexpensive option to increase your snorkeling and diving abilities or check out a new piece of equipment.”
