The house is at the corner of 8th street and Wesley Ave. We have high-speed, Wi-Fi, cable TV, 2 free reserved parking spots in the back of the house, and 4 complimentary beach tags! 3 comfortable bedrooms and 2 full baths in a split level, 2nd, and 3rd-floor Apartment is perfect for a family of 8 members. No cleaning fee if you book a full week.

This unit is in a 140-year-old historic house. The house is on Wesley Avenue and is between 7th and 8th ave. The 3 units in this house were, recently renovated to provide a unique combination of old rustic charm and modern comforts. Amongst the old construction imperfections is a newly furnished 3 bed 2 bath unit, that provides comfortable and stylish furnishings to make your much-deserved vacation a relaxing and enjoyable one!. For your convenience, this house has central air and is equipped with a dishwasher and washer/dryer, microwave, toaster oven, blender, coffee maker, food processor and everything that can make you feel like you are in your own home. (Very important note from the owner- we want to have a very comfortable stay if need be I will come and do your laundry and cook for you too , seriously I mean it!!!!!)

Master Bedroom --Features an upgraded Queen size bed. This room is your
romantic secluded retreat from the rest of the house. If need be it is spacious
enough to host a folding crib for our younger guests who feel more comfortable in the same room as their Mommy!!!!(daddy's are welcome too)

Master bathroom – Very spacious ,very modern,very your own (if needed, we
provide a lock and key !!!Ha ha!)

2nd bedroom--- Queen size bed.Cozy and comfortable, architecturally interesting
and very spacious.

3rd bedroom--- For kids!! 2-3 twin size beds and guess what??!!!
A complimentary 32"babysitter, a TV with DVD player.
This unit also comes with 2 memory foam mattresses that can be used on the floor.
So 2 queen size beds sleep 4, 2 twin beds sleep 2 and 2 memory foam mattresses sleep 2 more. Total sleeps 8 people.
Sheets & towels are not provied.
2nd full Bathroom
Newer kitchen cabinets, granite counter top, comfortable island, appliance,
and fully equipped to cook( or order in), serve and enjoy happy healthy meals.

Please note that you might see the house to be a little different from the posted pictures on the listing when you check in. This is because we update/replace wall paint, furniture, bedding, paintings, carpet, appliances, fixtures, drapes, decorations .......and such as need be.
This is a historic very old house, If you look closely you will see signs of its age. Remember, this is not The Hilton. The cleaning service visits before a new tenant checks in and does their best to keep the place spic and span, but if you look closely enough you will undoubtedly be able to find something that could be given more attention. You are on vacation; and hopefully you have left your cares and worries at home, along with the white gloves.

On the plus side of being in this home instead of a stark rental: You’ll feel like you're in a home, without the daily stress of being in your OWN house!

So make yourselves at home, respect and enjoy it. Please DO NOT move any furniture from its place. It is for your own safety. We do not want anybody to get hurt. Also please DO NOT move the furnishing/linen/pillows/blankets from the rooms.
If something gets broken during your stay, please fix it, replace it or tell us about it. The next visitors will then have everything in working order when they arrive and we'll continue to be impressed (and relieved!) with how well people have treated our home.
Here are some requested general guidelines for your stay.


I cannot guarantee that I can solve each and every problem, but I assure you I will do everything I can to make your stay safe and comfortable.
Important Information
1. No pets allowed with guests, however we do want to inform you that our family dog might have visited the house a couple nights every now and then.
2. No smoking INDOOR. If you smoke outside, please clean up after yourselves. Please do not throw cigarette buds in the front yard or the street or on the porch. For safety reasons, please do not burn any candles inside or outside.
3. ORDINANCES AND STATUTES- Please respect the neighbors. There is a 10 pm noise ordinance enforced by the owners and must be complied with,( applies specially to young adults). The tenants will be asked to vacate the property and will lose any and all deposits/rent.
4. Outside showers: Please rinse off the sand before entering the house.
5. We understand accidents can happen, any spills /stains on the carpet, beds please let us know so we can clean it up good before the next tenant arrives.
6. Absolutely no beach equipment should be taken inside the house (toys, bikes, boogie boards…..) We have storage for equipment outside.
7. It should go without saying that the heating and A/C are compromised by doors and windows left open.
8. Thermostat: Please shut the A/C before you leave. Running the A/C will keep the electric bill going. In such a case we will have to charge you (deduct from your deposit money) for the use/waste of electricity.
9. Please leave the place as you found it. The cleaning service will take care of prettying up the beds, scrubbing the toilets, vacuuming, and so on. If the house needs cleaning for over 2 hours, you will be charged for their extra time (deducted from the deposit.).Putting dishes in the dishwasher and starting it (few dishes left out is no problem), making the beds, a quick look around the house for trash and personal stuff, these are a few things that will be a big help.
10. We also request that food and beverages be consumed only in the kitchen and dining areas (or outside, of course).
11. Please turn off lights and fans before you leave, and lock all doors and windows.

PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BEDSHEETS . Please do not remove the bedding from the beds. Please leave the sheets and blankets on the bed as you found them when you came in. Once you book I will send information on the size of sheets you need to bring.

This is a rental home and it does take a lot of wear and tear during the season. No one means to cause any damage, but things can happen.
On one hand we have repeat tenants year after year and on the other hand, there are tenants looking of a refund for various reasons. A certain unit will be occupied weeks after weeks and then one tenant checks in and is very hard to please and expects a good amount of rent to be refunded. And then the rest of the season the same unit is rented to happy tenants.
All our units are almost 100% booked all 12 weeks every summer. In these 12 weeks amongst about 100 tenants or so, we have about 2-3 tenants that will have and will ask for a refund. You might see a stain on the carpet or mattress, a crack in the wall, a loose screw, ants near food, smell in the back of the house since there is a restraunt there, waterr stain in the ceiling and such other things. We assure you that we try and take care of things so things are safe and comfortabe for our guests but sometimes we run out of time between changeovers or might simply miss something or were not aware of something. But we do try our best to be on top of everything and take care of situations to our best. We need our guest 's cooperation, patience and understanding.

Once your book this unit, I will email you the current lease and some other more detailed important information which will be usefull before, during and after your stay including
• My address, where you can send the rent check
• Wi-Fi user name and password
• Parking information
• Trash Disposal information
• Cancellation Policy (including refundable deposit)
• Things you need to bring
• Bed size for sheets you need to bring
• And more.

There is a Schlage electronic lock on the door, so we have keyless locks. Please text me at ( I can send my number once you book) any time after 10 am on your check-in date and I will text you the lock code. I am unable to give you the lock code any time before that as the previous tenant checks out at 10 am. Please do not text the night before also. Please text the day of your check-in, the name of the person that has been in touch with me, the property ID and address you are check-in and your check out date. All of the above information will confirm that I am giving the lock number to the right person.

To open the lock – Touch the word “Schlage” the keypad will light up blue. Punch in the number that I will text you. The door will unlock.

To lock the door- To lock the door please hold the door shut real tight and touch the word Schlage , you will hear the door lock . If the red cross comes on that means that the door did not lock. Please repeat the process again. Please turn the knob and PULL the door to make sure the door is tightly locked. Thanks

Keyless lock is a good thing as no one can be locked out!! Please take caution sharing the number with family and friends. Once you share the number with someone they can come anytime as they please. Please remember that.

You can get supplies at Hoy’s (kind of $5 and below store). The store is a 5 min walk towards the bay on Asbury Street
Directions –
walk left on Wesley make a right on 8th street walk 1 block
on 2nd block ,that is Asbury Ave make a right 3rd store to your left is Hoys,
Across the street from Hoys is a Dollar store.
If you do not turn right on Asbury and keep going straight, the corner of next block on your left is Super fresh, the grocery store.
Super fresh the grocery store in on 8th street and west ave, 5 min walk from the house. Great for produce, poultry and all. It is about 10% to 15% more money than the stores off the island. But it is GOOD!
A public playground is right across the street from super fresh for special little guests.

13 years ago, my son was 6 years old, I was blessed with a baby girl. That's it! I wanted to be home with the kids and so I quit my job as asst. fashion coordinator and stayed home. The arts and craft junkie that I am, I explored and discovered HGTV ! That's how and when I found the handy-woman in me. I painted , made cabinets, tiled, did flooring.......basically re-did my own house, while I stayed home with my kids. Next it was time for another bigger project and this house was a great rehab opportunity. For 8 years+ this house has been my baby, I have done a lot of work myself and my husband, brother, mother even my mother-in-law ( had to mention her) and a few handymen, all have been a great help. We love this house and we love ocean city. I take pleasure, pain and pride- 24/7 to make sure my guests have a great experience, before, during and after their stay in my vacation home. I am still always there for my son , a pre-med sophomore at Temple and my baby girl is in 7th grade and yes I am happily married for 23 years!! Ha Ha Ha!!
