Relish in the quiet morning sunrise while sipping a fresh brewed cup of coffee in your private area in the back yard enclave. Soak up the rays of the warm Florida sun and enjoy dining with a family BBQ. At night, appreciate the amazing sunsets of golden oranges and pinks while chatting with a glass of wine.

The unique decor sets your vacation home apart from all the others. Appreciate all the details. Enjoy the guilty pleasure of watching a little Netflix in your own room. Cook up some fish tacos with your complete kitchen. Six guests will fit comfortably with 1 king bed and en-suite bath, guest room w/ two twin beds , and one queen size sleeper sofa. High quality linens and towels complement your plush mattresses. Sink into the 14" memory foam with pillow top in the master bedroom.

During the day, ride the trolley to downtown or walk the boardwalks over tidal lagoons at Lovers Key State Park - voted one of the best beaches in America! Kayak around the mangroves, or rent a boat to explore the many beaches and private islands.

At night you savor the samplings of the international restaurant scene of Fort Myers Beach. Order in w/ delivery service or cook at home in your well supplied kitchen.

We are located mid-island, so you can walk to everything from here or take the Free trolley or bus for .75 cents. Bike paths make it an enjoyable ride. We also have 2 bikes on the property for guests to share. We also offer Kayak rentals at $25 a day for either. Parking is available on-site.

Please keep in mind that on this site is asks about a "Communal Pool". The answer is "yes", we have a community pool, but it is NOT on our property, it is located at Bay Oak Recreational Center. A one week pass for a family of 4 the costs $40. It has a wonderful section for kids with slides. There are also tennis, basketball, and baseball options and some classes. We are also located just two blocks from the Mound House which is an interesting tour along with access to a kayak drop. Matanzas Pass is in this location as well that features a scenic nature walk along the bay.

We have other units which can be rented together for families to enjoy being together but also to have a bit of privacy. Optional 3 or 4 bedroom configuration available.

We rent to mature adults and families only. A lease and photo id will be required. This is a family friendly street and not suitable for a rowdy crowd. 4 adults/2children max.

Relax! If you can imagine it, it can be yours. Our home at "Sol y Mar" is your home! Please look at the map, we are not OCEANFRONT but we have direct beach access via a deeded path to the ocean.

Below is a copy of the lease for your review. By booking you acknowledge that you have read and understood the policies and procedures outlined below and that you agree to them. If you have any questions, let's discuss them together.

SHORT TERM RENTAL AGREEMENT

POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
Please review the following policies and procedures. They form the legal contract between the LANDLORD and the TENANT.

RENTAL AGREEMENT
The OWNER rents the property to the TENANT -
From Dates specified for the amount of guests specified on booking request.
The total rental price is being paid through Airbnb

Terms of the Agreement:
ARRIVAL and DEPARTURE
Check in is 3 pm and check out is 10 am. We will always try to accommodate tenant if arrival or departure times are outside of the designated check in and check out times. We ask for cooperation in these matters. Tenants expressly acknowledge and agree that this Agreement is for transient occupancy of the Property, and that Tenants do not intend to make the property a residence or household. Early or late departure due to act of God, no shows, reductions in the number of guests, ruined expectations due to work, health, or family emergencies or other commitments will not entitle the tenant to a refund. Toilet paper, soap, dish detergent, laundry soap, shampoos, and other consumables are the responsibility of the Tenant. We start you off with a couple rolls and some soap. There is a 7/11 (within walking distance) and PULBIX supermarket close by for your convenience. The Landlord or representative has the right to inspect the premises without prior notice at any time to enforce the terms of this agreement. Should the Tenants violate any of the terms of this agreement, the rental period shall be terminated immediately. The Tenants waive all rights to process if they fail to vacate the premises upon termination of the rental period. The Tenants shall vacate the premises by the expiration time and date of this agreement.
SELF CATERING
Our family tries hard to ensure that items listed on our website are in place, in working order, and the descriptions are as accurate and as reasonable as possible and that the rental is in good working order with all amenities in place. This is a self catering rental with no maid service. The owners or their representative will be available to handle questions or complaints. In case of a maintenance problem, the owners or their representative will strive to have the problem repaired as soon as possible after being notified. Consider carefully that NO REFUND, or RATE ADJUSTMENT shall be made for unforeseen failures. No refund or rate adjustment shall be made for any disturbance outside of the control of the Landlord.
CANCELLATIONS

WASTE/TRASH
The Tenants shall dispose of all waste material generated during the rental period in a lawful manner and put the trash in the bins and place along the curb during their stay for pickup.The garbage (the black bins) are picked up early morning on Thursday. Recyclables (the blue bins) are picked up on Wednesday.
LINENS
Tenants are supplied with high quality linens. Linens are to be returned in the condition they are received - free of STAINS or tears. We respectfully ask ladies to remove their makeup with tissue and not leave linens damaged.
ELECTRICITY
AC should be turned off when not occupying the apartment.
ADDITIONAL ITEMS
1. Pets are not allowed on the premises.
2. No Smoking inside the unit and we ask you to be respectful of your neighbors if you choose to smoke outside.
3. The Tenants shall not sublet the property.
4. Only legally owned and permitted firearms shall be allowed on the premises according to State and local laws.
5. Tenant agrees that hazardous materials shall not be used in or around the property.
6. Tenant shall use the property for legal purposes only and other use, such as but not limited to, illegal drug use, abuse of any person, harboring fugitives, etc.; shall cause termination of this agreement with no refund of rents or deposits.
7. If your unit contains and "owners closet", Tenant agrees not to access, even if unlocked, which contains cleaning supplies and chemicals that could be hazardous to children and adults.
8. The property has a fire extinguisher installed near the kitchen area. The fire extinguisher was fully charged at last inspection. It is the duty of the tenant to inform Landlord immediately should the fire extinguisher become less than fully charged. Tenant agrees to use the fire extinguisher only for true emergencies.
9. The property has fire alarms installed and they are believed to function properly at the time of rental. Tenant will notify Landlord without delay if a fire alarm “chirps” or has a low battery condition.
10. Tenant is advised that there is no carbon monoxide detector on the property and accepts the risk involved in not having one. We do not have anything that runs off of gas.
11. Tenant shall see to their own security while in the property by locking doors, windows, garage doors, etc. when it’s prudent to do so.
HOLD HARMLESS
The Tenants and Tenants' Guests shall hereby indemnify and hold harmless the Landlord against any and all claims of personal injury or property damage or loss arising from use of the premises regardless of the nature of the accident, injury or loss arising out of or relating to you and any members of your party: (a) this Agreement; (b) your use of the Service, including any data or work transmitted or received by you; and (c) any libelous, slanderous, indecent or other statement concerning the company, any person made or published by you or your party. Tenants expressly recognize that any insurance for property damage or loss which the Landlord may maintain on the property does not cover the personal property of Tenants, and that Tenants should purchase their own insurance for Tenants and Guests - if such coverage is desired. Tenants agree to pay all reasonable costs, attorney's fees and expenses that shall be made or incurred by Landlord enforcing this agreement.

Location, location, location!!!! What else can we say! The property is located mid-beach. You have a quiet area to relax with your family, but if you want to be in the middle of the action then just head 5 minutes up the island. We are ideally located, close to the grocery, restaurants, the public water park, the trails, the library with sky view dining, and the bay. Trolley is a free and convenient way to get around if you do not want to walk or use one of the two bikes we have available to guests.
