There is construction next to the BnB. We're building an addition. This means there will potentially be some weekday daytime construction noise. If this is going to ruin your stay, please don't book with us! The low price reflects this reality of construction. We're working to finish as quickly as possible :)
The Jungle Bungalow is located in a peaceful neighborhood in Downtown Chico. The smaller unit of a converted Crafstman Duplex, this private BnB has a separate entrance & yard.
Boligen
This Chico Charmer features original oak hardwood floors throughout, and generous bright natural light all day.
In the restroom you’ll find newly installed tile, a specialty 'ring light' mirror & bright bathroom lighting to make the morning routine a breeze.
There are dedicated heating/AC units in each room, as well as a ceiling fan in the living area. High Speed WiFi, Netflix & Hulu are ready to stream on the wall mounted flatscreen.
Take advantage of outdoor living and enjoy your meals on the huge shaded patio at the redwood picnic table - equipped with a disco ball for maximum evening ambiance.
The queen bed can comfortably sleep two adults, while a third adult or child can sleep on the 7’ living room couch. Extra blankets and pillows are available on the shelf should you need them.
The kitchenette is equipped for both short and long term stays, with plenty of cupboard space and an undercounter refrigerator.

Our neighborhood is quiet, well shaded with mature trees and little night time noise. Tender Loving is the nearest coffee shop, located just a 5 minute walk down the street, and the Lower Bidwell One Mile Swimming Hole is a ten minute walk in the other direction. Everything you'd need in Chico is easily accessible from the Chico Cabana.
