Frugttræer holder trit med den frugtbare dal Madrelagua på terrasserne og huset, det giver .. Perfekt til en intim flugt ...

Terrassen er bekvemt designet til at nyde udendørs så meget fra verandaen eller på grillpladsen med et stort bord, der kan rumme flere gæster.

Inde i loungen har en pejs, der giver en hyggelig atmosfære til de køligere nætter. Det har et stort køkken med det grundlæggende og derefter soveværelset. Huset sover også to yderligere på loftet, der er i stuen med en madras på trægulvet. Loftet er adgang til en vindeltrappe.

Da huset ligger i bunden af kløften, er det sidste spor til huset (ca. 1 km) meget stejlt. Bilen står parkeret i slutningen af denne nabovæg og skal gå ca. 100 meter til huset.

Ved siden af huset løber den berømte sti PR GC-01, der forbinder Cruz de Tejeda med den maleriske landsby Teror kun 6,5 km væk fra huset (9 km, ca. 15 minutters kørsel). Dette er en af Caminos Reales på øen Gran Canaria, der plejede at kommunikere landsbyer før cirkulationen af bilen i dag, der tilbyder interessante ruter for vandrere og naturelskere. Dette sammen med 7 andre ruter med stor naturlig værdi og 80% af dets territorium, der er katalogiseret som et beskyttet naturområde, har ført til, at Valleseco Kommune har specialiseret sig og forkælet omhyggeligt aktiviteter som vandreture og under hensyntagen til manglen på cirkulære ruter i betragtning af terræn, tilbyde en god taxa-afhentning derhjemme og tage til udgangspunktene for ruterne og indsamle folk i slutningen af dem.

I det lille kvarter Madrelagua, der nås med en kort gåtur, er der to købmandsforretninger, hvor du kan købe frugt og grøntsager i området samt brød og basale produkter. For mere valg er der i landsbyen Valleseco kun 2 km væk et Spar-supermarked og postkontor, banker, caféer, pool og offentligt bibliotek med internetadgang og et praktisk turistkontor.

Den lokale skik at spise ude på landet gør det nemt at finde gode restauranter med rimelige priser, der er specialiserede i grillet kød og typiske kanariske retter, med de nærmeste på 2 km i det nærliggende distrikt Lanzarote eller i nærheden, allerede i vejen mod kyst, er det den berømte restaurant Balcon de Zamora ved siden af et smukt observationsdæk.

Huset har en fremragende position til at udforske den nordlige del af øen og dens byer og er også godt at nyde deres strande med lokal atmosfære på 30 min. Kørsel som San Felipe, Bañaderos og El Puertillo med sine naturlige pools i klipperne. Allerede her på kysten er restauranterne mere specialiserede i fisk, hvilket giver en behagelig kontrast til det indre.

Next to the house runs the famous trail PR GC-01 which connects Cruz de Tejeda with the picturesque village of Teror at just 6.5 kms away from the house (9kms, about 15-minutes-drive). This is one of the Caminos Reales on the island of Gran Canaria that used to communicate villages before the circulation of the car today offering interesting routes for walkers and nature lovers. This along with 7 other routes of great natural value and 80% of its territory being catalogued as Protected Natural Area, have led to the Municipality of Valleseco to specialize and pamper carefully activities like hiking and, taking into account the lack of circular routes given the terrain, offer a good taxi service picking-up at home and taking to the starting points of the routes and collecting people at the end of them.

In the small neighborhood of Madrelagua, which is reached with a short walk, there are two grocery stores where you can buy fruits and vegetables of the area as well as bread and basic products. For more choice, in the village of Valleseco at just 2kms away there is a Spar supermarket and post office, banks, cafes, pool and public library with Internet access and a convenient Tourist Office.

The local custom of eating out in the countryside makes it easy to find good restaurants with reasonable prices specialized in grilled meat and typical Canarian dishes, with the closest ones at 2kms in the neighboring district of Lanzarote or nearby too, already in the way to the coast, it is the famous Balcon de Zamora restaurant next to a beautiful observation deck.

The house has an excellent position to explore the north of the island and its towns and is also good to enjoy their beaches with local atmosphere at 30-min-drive like San Felipe, Bañaderos and El Puertillo with its natural pools in the rocks. Already here on the coast, the restaurants are more specialized in fish, offering a pleasant contrast with the interior.
