Outside one can enjoy the picturesque views of fields and woodland, and children can play in the adventure playground. This non-working farm is home to an abundance of wildlife including deer, badgers, foxes and many birds. Horse riding is available locally at the neighbouring property, charges do apply.

Celebrity chef and TV presenter Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall has his first River Cottage Canteen and Deli (an organic produce shop/market and canteen) at the nearby market town of Axminster, 3 miles away. There are water activities such as boat trips, fishing, swimming, diving, sailing and wind surfing, fossil hunting along the Jurassic Coast and exhilarating walks along the coastal paths with its beautiful scenery, particularly from the top of Golden Cap with its commanding views over Lyme Bay from Portland to Torquay.
