Andre ting, der er værd at bemærke

The long-distance path known as the Kintyre Way, zigzags down the Kintyre peninsular, providing a variety of walking opportunities to both the serious and casual walkers alike. Details of the routes may be found on the explorekintyre website which provides maps covering the whole 100 mile stretch of the long distance walk. Crubasdale Lodge Cabin provides a base from which to explore the Kintyre trail and sample some spectacular scenery on the way.

For the water sport enthusiast there is excellent surfing and windsurfing at Machrihanish. There are some great scuba diving sites all around the peninsula and the islands, with compressed air available in Campbeltown, Southend & Tarbert. There are also some wonderful white, sandy beaches with crystal clear waters for those wishing a more relaxing time exploring rock pools or to just laze on the beach.

Golf can be played at Machrihanish, Tarbert, Gigha, Carradale and Southend where it is possible to play on some of the best links in the country, but be warned it can be very busy during the summer.

If you are lucky you might spot otters, golden eagles and dolphins. Buzzards are almost as common as sparrows here! If all else fails, there are always the Crubasdale cats to keep you entertained.
