This newly constructed home is located right in the heart of town and is ready for its grand opening as of May 1, 2018. This home is well lit at night time and easy to find. Within walking distance from a number of five-star restaurants, 4 weekly farmer’s markets, two large shopping centers, a brand-new children’s park, a nature park, a theater, museums, art galleries, a library, beautiful boutiques, and amazing coffee shops.T his hosted airbnb is a detached guest house on our 2 acre property.

Waimea (also known as Kamuela) sits at an elevation just a little over 2,600 ft. making the air fresh and enjoyable to be in all year round. With this type of weather an AC is not needed in the unit but we have installed fans in both bedrooms and the family room. The home can comfortably fit 2 couples and 1 child. Next door to this unit is an identical sized home that we have also newly constructed with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. With these homes adjacent to one another and if available both units can be rented together to accommodate your stay. Please contact us by email if you are interested in renting both units.

The living room has a three-person reclining leather sofa. The leather ottoman pulls out into a single size bed if someone needs to sleep in the family room. The family room has a 65” 1080 Samsung Smart TV that can hook up to various apps through an Apple TV for streaming things like your Netflix,Hulu, and ESPN account. There is WiFi in the home. To keep the unit clean we have gone ahead and stocked the laundry room with cleaning supplies and a broom and dust pan if if needed. After every reservation, we have a cleaning crew come clean the house to make sure it stays clean and fresh for our guests.

The neighborhood has a weekly farmers' market at Parker school that is just a 2 blocks away from the home. The farmers' market has a variety of local vendors, authentic food, and gorgeous plants and flowers. Our family likes to walk the neighborhood loop which is just a little over a mile long. Within that loop you will see beautiful Hawaiian landscaping, farm animals, avocado trees, Mauna Kea views, and a lot of beautiful homes. The neighborhood is a peaceful place to be in. It is very quiet and filled with a lot of aloha that will make your 'Ohana feel right at home.

Father, serial entreprenuear, inventor, coffee farmer, carpenter, jack of too many trades. Very fortunatly, I sold a tech business in CA in 2006 which gave us the opportunity to really think about where we wanted to live, and where we wanted our daughter to grow up. After careful consideration we made a family decision to move to Hawaii for 100 different reasons, but basically the goal was to simplify. We wanted a simpler life, a slower pace, no traffic and a nice, safe community. We moved to Kona first, but truly discoved our own heaven on earth a few years later in Waimea. We have a little girl in elementary school so many of our activities revolve her schedule and community, but we love hosting our friends and family, playing tennis, beach time and horses. (when I'm not building!)
