This newly renovated, vintage 1920's cabin sits proudly in the pristine San Bernardino Forest waiting to welcome you.

NOTE:
-There is an inclined dirt/gravel driveway to reach the cabin (about 60 feet long).

*There is no A/C in the home. Extra fans are provided if needed.

With our Adventure Pass, you'll have access to all the National Forest trails and recreation areas.

Guests can enjoy the many other comfortable amenities that our house provides.

HOME DESCRIPTION
This quaint two-bedroom and one-bath cabin features:

- A vaulted living room ceiling in the main living area with beautifully, hand-crafted wood beams, picturesque windows and comfortable seating.

- Spacious open floor plan for enjoyable, central conversation - include everyone in the living room, kitchen and dining area.

- Attractive hardwood floors throughout the entire home with elegant furnishings and lighting.

- Fully-equipped kitchen with a brand new stainless steel refrigerator, coffee maker, tea kettle and supplied with cookware, glassware, dining set & utensils.

- Beautifully detailed, handcrafted wood entryway.

- A spacious deck with relaxed seating and a small back porch with spectacular tree-lined views.

Sleeping arrangement:
- Bedroom #1 - Principal bedroom w/Queen-sized bed
- Bedroom #2 - Bunk room w/two twin bunks

OUR NEIGHBORHOOD

Located in Lake Arrowhead’s Twin Peaks Neighborhood: This serene area is an ideal getaway for the whole family and makes a great home base for all of the summer and winter activities Lake Arrowhead and San Bernardino Mountain Resorts have to offer.

Just a 5-minute drive to Blue Jay Village; Jensen’s Grocery, Starbucks Coffee, our local movie theater, casual dining & shopping - and a scenic, 10-minute drive to downtown Lake Arrowhead Village & Shops; Stater Bros. Marketplace, outlet shopping, antiquing & fine dining.

We are close to skiing - just 25 minutes from Snow Valley Ski Resort and 45 minutes from Big Bear Lake and more skiing, snowboarding & sledding.

This mountain retreat is perfect for guests who want to unwind and enjoy a serene & relaxing getaway. Simply sit back and enjoy a cup of coffee and read from the many books on the shelves!

At night, sitting on the deck enjoying the stars and the forest are a perfect end to a day of adventure. This charming alpine cabin is the perfect setting for a relaxed vacation with family and friends.

GUEST ACCESS

All of it! You have access to the entire house. The cabin is setup to be your home away from home.

Note: There is one storage closet located in the queen bedroom that is locked and not accessible to guests.

*Arrival & check-in time is after 5pm.
*Departure & check-out is by Noon.

Q: DO WE ALLOW EARLY CHECK-INS?
A: Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate early check-ins -- as it will not allow our housekeeper enough time to fully prepare the home for you.

Q: CAN I GET A LATE CHECK-OUT?
A: Unfortunately, we cannot grant late check-outs. Our housekeeper is on a tight schedule to clean multiple homes, and we cannot accommodate a late check-out request. Thank you for your understanding.

PARKING
*There is an inclined dirt/gravel driveway to reach the cabin (about 60 feet long), so if you have an SUV or cross-over, bring it for easier access!

**Be sure to avoid parking on the street because there is a strictly enforced no-parking zone on our street.

**MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY - Please abide by the maximum occupancy number for the home at all times.

Q: CAN I INVITE MORE PEOPLE THAN THE MAXIMUM ALLOWED LISTED?
A: Maximum occupancy does not only refer to the number a home can sleep, this is also the number of people allowed in the home at any given time. It is determined by the licensing authority based on the number of exits in the home and fire safety codes.

**San Bernardino County has codes that are strictly enforced. Be sure to abide by the maximum occupancy number for the home at ALL times.

Q: IS THE PROPERTY ISOLATED?
A: The Property is located in a mountain community and is surrounded by neighboring cabins. The community itself is surrounded by forest.

**NOISE DISTURBANCES - Please be respectful of all neighbors. Noise travels easily in the mountains & we ask that our guests be respectful of the full-time residents that live nearby. Your reservation is for a quiet, relaxing & enjoyable stay!

As a guest, you are welcome to use all of the amenities provided. We want our guests to enjoy all we have to offer. All we ask is that you treat our home with care.

And with our National Forest Vehicle Adventure Pass, you can park/visit any one of the many US Forest Service trails and recreation areas. There are a wide variety to choose from, ranging from easy, stroller friendly walks with animal footprint trails for kids, to more advanced hikes with rock formations and hot springs!

Q: WHAT TYPE OF WEATHER SHOULD I EXPECT ON MY TRIP?
A: PLEASE COME ADEQUATELY PREPARED!!! Be sure to check the local forecast for weather conditions. In the fall & winter months expect fog, rain, sleet and snow. Roads can be very icy, and the owners cannot be responsible for weather or driving conditions.

Q: DO I NEED TIRE CHAINS ON MY VEHICLE?
A: During the SNOW season it is wise to carry snow chains. CHP requires possession of chains/cables when traveling mountain roads in icy conditions. Chains can be purchased at the base of the mountain near Highland Avenue & Hwy 330 at the Super Walmart. *Be sure to get the right size for your tires.

Q: WILL I HAVE TO SHOVEL SNOW?
A: YES! Our neighborhood road is plowed by the county - but our driveway, parking, steps and entry are not. *Guests are responsible for removing snow should it snow during their stay.

Twin Peaks, Californien, USA

We love Twin Peaks! It's close enough to the lake and shops, but just far enough that you really feel immersed in nature! Because Twin Peaks is 900 feet higher than the lake, you see White Fir trees (the Christmas-looking ones) that only grow at this elevation, and you're surrounded by a lush forest of giant pines and cedars that is absent just a few hundred feet below. The boundary of the national forest is literally a block away.

Twin Peaks still also has that small-town charm that we love - everyone is just so friendly. It's a nice mix of vacationers and full-time residents. Many of those residents live here because of the extra snow! That little bit of extra elevation makes a big difference!

Jensen's Market (which has the best bakery and a Starbucks) is just minutes away, and the Lake Arrowhead Village is less than 10 minutes away (4 miles). But the best natural sights are right here in Twin Peaks - the forest surrounds us, and for a grand view of the world around us, Strawberry Peak Fire Lookout Tower is right up the road.
