Located in the 'Heart of Hana', this stunning multi-unit beach house is nestled in the lush Hawaiian jungle with towering bamboo and fruit trees next to a natural flowing creek formed out of lava rock.

Enjoy outdoor living at its finest in our unique island home! Soak under starlight, fall asleep to the pulse of the moonlit ocean, and wake up to birds greeting the rising sun.

Boligen
The Sunrise Hana Surf Loft does not have a typical layout as homes do on the mainland, it is very much a “local Hawaiian home”. It has been designed with an open concept floor plan on the second level of a two-story home, utilizing outdoor living space.

Guests have their own 1400 sqft self-contained unit with a private entrance, 1 California King mattress and 1 Queen mattress, full kitchen, living space, 55" LCD Smart TV with complimentary Netflix, and wrap around patio. (*1000 sq ft indoor and 400 sq ft outdoor).

The back lanai has its own screened-in sunroom where you will find a sprawling king size mattress. Enjoy a hot bath in an extra deep soaker tub under the stars, or a cool plunge gazing into the vast mountain range and towering bamboo.

The unit is equipped with a full-size fridge/freezer, purified water dispenser/ice maker, glass top range with oven, dishwasher, air fryer, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle, slow cooker, rice maker, kitchen utensils/cookware/cutlery.

Coffee, tea and non-perishable snacks are also placed in the suite for your enjoyment.

A cooler, beach chairs, and beach towels are provided for your use during your stay.

Linens and bath towels are provided. 2 extra pillows, and 2 blankets are located in the wicker basket inside the loft.

The loft does not have air conditioning. The house is equipped with many windows, proper ventilation as well as 6 ceiling fans.

We are unable to provide laundry services during your stay with us.

Two cats live on the property, they are not allowed inside the loft, however they find their way onto the wrap around lanai. They are friendly, excellent with children, and are cared for by the resident in the ohana.

This suite is part of a triplex townhouse which contains three self-contained units (One upstairs and two downstairs).

Each suite is a secure self-contained unit equipped with its own entrance, bathroom, kitchen, and living quarters.

There is an exit for emergency only on the backside of the lanai by the bathtub. It exits into private property. Please do not use this exit unless it is an emergency.

A private residence (cottage) is located on the property approximately 25 feet away and is not available for reservations. It is not part of the Airbnb listing; if you have questions about the area or suite please direct them to Tania, Kaua or our House Manager, Kaui. We are either on-site or can be reached with the contact information provided.

CLEANING: Our housekeeper is on site daily between 10 am and 3 pm. There are 3 separate rentals in the town-home. At each check out the unit is cleaned top to bottom with natural bio-degradable cleaners, linens are laundered in hypo-allergenic detergent, floors and carpets are vacuumed and steam cleaned each and every time. All of the contents within the unit have been purchased brand new from top quality suppliers.

*Spider webs are also removed (when the housekeeper cleans the loft) from the entry, deck, and stairwells. However, they can rebuild a web overnight.

CRITTERS: If you do not tolerate critters, Hana may not be the right place for you. We encourage our guests to keep screen doors closed at all times to avoid critters from entering. If you have a phobia or are unable to tolerate pests (ants, mosquitos, spiders, bugs, lizards), we suggest staying at any of the 5-star resorts on the west side of the island. They spray pesticides regularly and you would less likely encounter them there.

FOOD: Hana is no longer limited to food options. There are 15 food trucks and 3 restaurants.

DRIVEWAY: Our driveway is long and narrow, please drive in and park with the front of your vehicle facing the house. There is one designated spot per unit and 3 vehicles are to be able to park side by side. BE PREPARED TO COMPLETELY BACK OUT OF THE DRIVEWAY as turning around is difficult.

NOISE: We live in Hana Town and have neighbors. Our neighborhood is extremely quiet (with the exception of Halloween night and New Year's Eve) and locals do turn in it down and are very respectful at all hours. Most are often asleep by 9 pm as we work at sunrise. There can be noise intermittently, however, it is not like the city. We live in the country; grass will get cut, feral cats may fight, dogs from the sub-division can be heard occasionally, a rooster or chickens may pay an unscheduled visit and at times you may hear cows. This loft is part of a triplex with two other units on the main level.

Housekeeping is on-site turning over units between 10 am and 3 pm daily. There is a vacation rental next door to us and a church.

CATS: There is a good chance that you will encounter our orange kitties as they tend to greet our guests. They are very friendly. Please note that we do not allow the cats inside the house and ask if you could please remove them if they sneak in. However, the wrap-around deck does not have a way of blocking them out and they have made their way onto the lanai to pay guests a visit. If the kitties are not orange, they are feral strays.

TAX Our accommodations are licensed with the State of Hawaii. Our license number is BEHA20160002. The price quoted in this listing includes both the Gross Excise Tax 4.5% (GET) and 10.25% Transient Accommodation Tax (TAT).
