Testimonial from Carly:
"One of the best Airbnbs I've ever stayed at, which is saying a lot because I'm a digital nomad living in Airbnbs full time. There's a great feel in the apartment with natural light, comfortable bed, bathroom, and kitchen. In a hipster area close to the metro, nifty bars and restaurants, and shops although on a quiet street. Communication with the host was great. I really didn't want to leave!"

Boligen
This beautifully appointed petite gem is located in Sydney's Rushcutters Bay/Kings Cross neighbourhood. All amenities you could want including air conditioning, washer/dryer and black out blinds.

Please message me availability and your needs as I am flexible and trying to keep the apartment full for longer periods of time during this covid time. Hence why I have only made to available for one week on this listing.

This gorgeous studio apartment is perfectly placed for easy living convenience only moments from key places and a chic city centre lifestyle.

It is a light and airy space with lots of morning sun. Fresh towels and bed linen are provided.

My place is good for couples or a single person.

This apartment is on the street front and although it is a reasonably quiet street there is more noise than in any of these, my other Airbnb apartments in the same area:

Beliggenhed

Rushcutters Bay, New South Wales, Australien

Kings Cross is an inner-city locality of Sydney, It is located approximately 2 km east of the Sydney’s CBD and is bounded by the fashionable suburbs of Potts Point, Elizabeth Bay, Rushcutters Bay and Darlinghurst.

Colloquially known as The Cross, the area was historically known as Sydney's red-light district, and was reputed to be home to organised crime groups. Once known for its music halls and grand theatres, it was rapidly transformed after World War II by the influx of troops returning and visiting from the nearby Garden Island naval base. In recent years, however, this sleezy pocket of Sydney has started to evolve, albeit ever so slowly, into a richly vibrant part of the city. Today, it is a mixed locality offering both services (railway, gyms, supermarket, bakeries) to nearby residents and entertainment venues including bars, restaurants, nightclubs, brothels and strip clubs to visitors.

As an area rich in diversity, Kings Cross is a true melting pot of travellers, stylish restaurant and cafe-goers, and locals bursting with character

Many of Sydney’s greatest landmarks can be found in Kings Cross, including the famous Coca-Cola sign and the El-Alamein fountain.

The El-Alamein fountain sits at the entrance to Fitzroy Gardens and stands as a memorial to soldiers who fell during two 1942 battles in El-Alamein, Egypt. The fountain was designed by acclaimed architect Bob Woodward and its iconic dandelion shape has been imitated throughout the world.

The Fitzroy Gardens host the Kings Cross Organic Food Market every Saturday 8am – 2pm and the Kings Cross Sunday Markets every Sunday, which have an array of interesting objects, designer dresses, new and secondhand books, flowers, bric a brac, unique candles, sunglasses, food stalls and more.

The King's Cross historically, has been known to most Australians as the drugs and red light capital of Australia. Most Australians who have visited Sydney at one time or another have wandered through the Cross, if only for a look at how the "other half" live and play. This has changed immensely in the last years as t he area is becoming gentrified.

Visitors to the area should be careful at night, as with any inner city area with clubs and bars, people do get mugged here occasionally. The other thing to be careful of is the spuikers outside nightclubs: they can be intimidating and aggressive.

If you're keen to stay in the Kings Cross area, Rushcutters Bay is perhaps the most desirable location. It's right beside the Cross, somewhat up market and sufficiently removed from the "action". From here you can access and enjoy all the color and richness of the Cross, without getting too much caught up in
