An older, cozy "dry" cabin with a 70's vibe, wood floor, full kitchen, electric heat, dining area, great view of horse pastures, the ocean, mountains, and farm animals and cranes dancing in the meadows on 30 acre farm. Right next to farm lodge for all the amenities, 24 hour access to brand new bathroom, showers, wi fi , etc. Has its own private little outhouse out back. Cabin has cold indoor running water! Great for family! (no pets please) Walk to the beach for picnics, film eagles, otters!

Boligen
This cabin is closest to the main lodge and bathroom facilities. It s the preferred and private space for families as well, a queen and two bunks and one single. Guests are welcome to use the pavilion and campfire pit. Please do not cook seafood in the cabin, use outdoor bbq or cooking area in pavilion for preparing your seafood, as the smells linger in the cabin and are hard to get out.

Gæsteadgang
It is important that guests and especially children stay out of barnyard or fenced off areas, and refrain from walking in the hay fields or off the maintained areas. We have many nesting wild birds in the "weeds" so everyone is encouraged to stay right on the path at all times!!

Andre ting, der er værd at bemærke
Please note: Dogs and cats are not allowed in the Rose Cottage, we like to have one cabin pet free for folks who may get allergies. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Homer, Alaska, USA

A rural, farm neighborhood with grassy fields, pastures, wildlife habitat and access to a wild beach. An excellent sushi and seafood restaurant and lounge (Wasabi's) is only a 5 minute walk up the hill.

I am a 77 year young farm and nature loving, bird watching, musician, singer, artist, photographer, bird enthusiast and conservationist. I grew up in Alaska with my pioneering Swiss immigrant parents 7 brothers and sisters in a log cabin way out in the wilderness where we lived off the land. In the 70's I produced Alaska's first album of my original folksongs, "Northwind Calling". From over 20 years of recording and filming birds I also created a dvd of Alaska Songbirds with my wonderful husband Coni. . My life motto is to be courageous and always grateful for everything. I paint, sing, laugh, and am never bored, always busy, and happy to be alive. I love animals, and people --especially those who appreciate and respect other beings. Five things I cant live without. Bird songs, chocolate, the smell of cottonwoods in spring, music...(all kinds), and my Morgan horses. I also love my two sons Arlyn and Dylan, my grand daughter Skye and my beautiful hometown of Homer. This is my fourth year hosting. I love to share my farm, my passions, my bird sanctuary and flowers and the 1500 trees Ive planted over some 40 years with guests from around the world . My farm is a work in progress, a constant creation, a labor of love based on Winnie the Pooh, my favorite book from childhood. The 75 year old Raspberry patch is the heart and soul of the farm, Homer's only you-pick berry patch. Im easy going, flexible, and not too picky, and I adapt to any situation, being open to new experiences, flavors and outlooks. I welcome guests who have the same approach to life, they fit in best in this magical place I call home along with all the wildlife, horses, cows, chickens and birds. It is our sanctuary.

Under dit ophold
Dont hesitate to call me on cell phone while at Seaside Farm. (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) I am out and about a lot with farm work, and sometimes hard to catch, but keep trying! We will leave you a note in case we have to be away on errands.
