Join me to experience the joy of riding a mountain bike amidst beautiful views of Dhauladhar ranges, enjoy sight-seeing, cherish the nature closely and explore hidden treasures. You will be provided with a well equipped mountain bike, suitable costume for cycling and helmet for safety. We will ride as a group and will take you to some of the beautiful landscapes, close to nature, lovely views, beautiful tea gardens etc. I will be riding along and will support you throughout the ride (in case of any help needed) to make the experience memorable for you. Ride Duration - around 3 hrs On the Ride day - 1. Everyone to reach and meet at the venue as per scheduled time. Guided Historical tour about Shimla
The heritage walk starts from the Christ Church,which is located at the western shoulder of Jakhu Hill and east towards the Viceregal Lodge. Shimla has a number of places to visit. Local hangouts like The Mall and The Ridge are in the heart of the city. Most of the heritage buildings in the city are preserved in their original 'Tudorbethan' architecture. The former Viceregal Lodge, which now houses and Indian Institute of Advanced Study, During the walk your guide will take you through a number of old buildings such as Gaiety theatre, General Post Office, Imperial Bank, Railway Board Building, Gorton Castle, Knockdrin, Kennedy Cottage, Cecil Hotel,and Viceregal Lodge and you will find every building has a different style of architecture with many stories of the past. Your guide will narrate various facts and history about the old buildings as you enjoy the nature walk. The last point of your heritage walk is the Indian Institute of Advanced Study. After learning about Shimla history your tour ends and you can take local transportation by own. War Memorial :The war memorial was built to commemorate the memories of those who lost their lives to save the motherland. Introduction to Coffee with Live Roasting at Pahadee Coffee
We'll meet at PAHADEE Coffee Roastery located at Gunehar village, 4kms from Bir Paragliding landing site. We'll have a small tour of the coffee roastery, followed by a group introduction. We'll then start with "Coffee 101", which will be an interactive session. We'll understand the whole farm to cup process. After the informative session, participants will be offered a coffee beverage of their choice. Then comes the most interesting part, we'll fire up the roaster and understand how a coffee roaster works. We'll be doing a live roasting of a Indian specialty grade arabica. Roast level will be decided based on majority vote. We'll understand the science behind the roasting process and participants will be themselves involved with the roasting process. Once coffee is roasted, we'll have a myth buster session where all queries and myths will be addressed. Before we say goodbye, each participant will receive a bag of roasted coffee bean(grounded if needed). This is the same coffee we've roasted 30mins back! Every participant will reach one step closer to becoming a coffee connoisseur.
The Hathipaown Hike
Walk up to an incredible breathtaking Viewpoint of Mussoorie that has views of the ENTIRE Dehradoon skyline, from river Ganga on one side to river Yamuna on the other on a clear day, with massive Himalayan ranges to the North. The whole loop is a beautiful short Nature walk of approximately 5-6kms roundtrip. We'll gain approximately 1200 -1500 feet of elevation overall. The route used for this hike is a mix of beautiful nature trail, mountain Zig-Zags, some kacha pakka Rasta & a lovely stone paved path that has ample tree cover on both sides which makes it both interesting & amazing. Also, There is a restroom at the trailhead!! NOTE: 1. Weekdays/Less Crowded Days and early mornings & evenings are best for it, on weekends the peak gets a little crowded during day time, however the whole loop is the experience that one should go for. 2. The hike is a Blend of a Beautiful Nature walk and a history Tour with some little bit of off-beat hike. Treat it as such. 3. The views are superb, the walk is beautiful, however the setting of the place and route is not far into wilderness, expect to see other humans around especially during day time. 4. **Tour is Customizable** 5. **Great For Sunset/Sunrise** 6. Day Hike Tour to Triund from Dharamshala
You will be picked up by your guide Main square of McLeod ganj market (meeting Point) and will take you location where the hike will start as per scheduled pick up time. Walk through the mixed forest of oak, rhododendron and deodar trees. The trail is well marked all the way up to Triund. From McLeod Ganj it is 3/4 hours steep ascent to Triund. Small tea shops on the way can provide good refreshments .Here you can refuel yourself by own expense. Triund is an alpine meadow situates atop a flat ridge with fine views of peaks of Dhauladhars on one side an Kangra valley on the other side. After spending quality of time in the lap of mountains start descending to McLeod Ganj. Take the same route on the way back or follow the grassy ridge which will lead to Bhagsu Nag Temple, after crossing a small waterfall on the way. McLeod Ganj is only 1.5 Km from the Bhagsu Nag by road. When the tour ends, you will return to original meeting point.
Monsoon Day Hike To Triund
Monsoon hikes can be so enchanting and one can witness Triund trail in it's pure, raw & wild form in the months of monsoon. ∆° We will meet in Gallu, famously known as Gallu temple and a starting point of the triund. From gallu the triund trail is everything a nature lover would dream of. The trail is accompanied by the sweet and wonderful sounds of birds, small & waterfalls. We will hike through the gorgeous alpine scenery and fairy tale forest with Himalayan flora & fauna and fresh air to breath. During the hike I will show you the famous peaks of dhauladhar granite mountain. I will also point to famous sites of mcleodganj like Dalai Lama temple, cricket stadium and a hibrew village in dharamkot, which are visible from a suitable spot with scenic view of shivalik hills . Upon reaching the top of triund we will spend one hour leisure time admiring the splendid face to face view of Mun peak and Indraharpas . Around 2 pm we will began to descend back to gallu and we will be back to Mcleodganj main square by 5:30 pm. Our triund Day hike ends here at the beautiful sunset time . ∆ Note - - For solo travellers it is suggested to book the experience using private tour option only - Any transport charges during the tour are not included in the experience. We'll hike through a beautiful forest to Summit a Hilltop, that has Beautiful Panoramic views of the valleys below & the Himalayas up ahead! It is a beautiful day hike for rejuvenation and a perfect place for Nature Admirers. The Trail is wide enough & beautiful with abundant Tree cover for major part of it. On Meeting, necessary briefing will be done before we jump right into action. After that we'll hike into the forest where you'll see & enjoy the forest and learn about it's interesting big & smalls. I'll be providing you with refreshments at regular intervals i.e drinks & light snacks to keep you hydrated and energetic. The Hike is Easy going for Regular Hikers but can be of moderate Difficulty for First Timers. We might witness some barking deers and jungle Martin's walking around on the slopes. Kalij pheasants, langoors & Vultures are often easily spotted. Even though wildlife spotting cannot be guaranteed. What I can guarantee you is a wonderful pleasant time out there observing and admiring nature. Dayara Bugyal Day Trek in Uttarakhand
After breakfast, we will begin the day trek from Raithal village to Dayara Bugyal alpine meadow which situated at an elevation of 3408m. Dayara Bugyal listed among the few largest and well-known meadows in the Garhwal Himalayas and is second to none in natural beauty. After 15 minutes’ walk into the trail and you’ll enter a beautiful forest rich in flora and fauna. 4kms gradually ascending route from upper Raithal leads to shepherd huts at Goyi, a quaint little hamlet straight out of a fantasy world. After a short break at Goyi we’ll proceed towards Dayara Bugyal also known as Nature's Own Gardens. Once arriving at this vast meadow that resembles a tabletop, you can catch sight of some majestic peaks, namely Srikanth, Rudregaira, Gangotri I, II & III, Jaonli, Draupadi ka Danda I & II, Black peak, Bandarpunch I, and II. We will have a packed lunch with hot tea/coffee on the mountain top. After spending some time in the meadow then we will trek down to Raithal village where we can make arrangements for an overnight in a guesthouse or homestay with dinner. Raithal Village to Dayara Bugyal and back to Raithal is about 15 Kms trek on two sides and it will take you around 7 hrs. through dense forest and alpine meadows. Walking tour - exploring local life, village, nature around
Welcome to lower Dharamshala, near Norbulingka where we meet first, about 30 mins from Mcleod Ganj. Join me exploring these foothills - i know few many escapes here, we will be reaching to some nice nature spots, passing through pine forest, terrace fields, time by the river, watching the birds and enjoying the sun go down. There are few many interesting locations. We will randomly choose 3 to 4 scenic areas that we will visit and explore within the time frame. Locations will be decided live as per the day's current weather condition. Wherever we chose to go, my promise is to get you to rich nature and scenic locations , hoping to get that pleasant experience. Bird watching - wherever possible we will take pitstops sitting quietly observing and watching the nature's magic come alive. I am not a professional birder, though it exites me when i spot certain birds. I have a local kangra terrain's bird book we can refer to. Routes that i have set, isnt so difficult - we can easily achieve the hikes or walks with minimal effort - can be done by all age groups, no specific preparation required. Just prep yourself with a sports shoes for an easy naturewalk. Ideal if you have a small backpack to put in your mobile phone, valuables and be handsfree during your walk.

1. Guests will be greeted at my 6th floor apartment in Panchkula which is located along riverside at a very picturesque location.I and my husband live here. Our house has 3 bedrooms, a living room, bar, Dining room , open kitchen and a terrace.Guests will be given a tour of the house so that they can enjoy the greenery and ambience .Our entire apartment is overlooking the river Ghaghar .After they are settled down comfortably we will tell them about our culture and cuisine. 2. I use organic food products and homemade spices and ingredients My cuisine will be vegetarian which will include 1. Welcome drink called Kashmiri Kahwa . This is a variant of hot tea infused with spices , herbs and topped with almonds. 2. Appetizers a)Nader Monje. This is lotus stems cut into pieces ,coated with rice flour and sesame seeds and fried b) Peanut masala 3. Main Course a) Kashmiri Dum Aloo - potato dish b) Nadroo yakhni - lotus stem dish c) Tamatar Chaman-cottage cheese dish d) Dahi Raita- curd Kashmiri pilav- Rice dish e)Walnut Chutney 4. The Top Tibba Trek
Admire nature, feel the forests, experience the Himalayan Mountains. Know about the Himalayan flora and fauna, stories and people. Also Probably we'll learn a thing or two, some about the nature some about ourselves for every walk in nature brings us closer to our inner selves. Once we reach our starting point, essential briefing will be done again. After that we will jump right into action & start our hike. The trail will start from a point which has an elevation of approx. 6700ft above sea level and will lead us to the summit of Top Tibba which has an elevation of approximately 8,500 ft above sea level. Top Tibba can be approached from various angles & trails, some of which are quite challenging while some are relatively less strenuous. The trek will cover a trail that runs through dense forest of Oaks & Cedars, along with some grassy hillsides. The view of Doon Valley below, Mussoorie Township and the great Himalayas is superb from the Summit area. Distance: approx. 9 kms Minimum Time required: 4 hrs Highest point: 8,500/- ft above msl. Total elevation gain on this hike: approx 1800ft. The hike on average is uphill, some people might find it steep at places, some fitness level is required. NOTE: Not suitable for people having walking difficulties/ similar. The trek starting point is 12kms ahead of Mussoorie, hence you will need transportation to reach & return.
