Discover Appia & take pictures of Rome's nature and history

All roads lead to Rome! If Roman roads are so famous the Ancient Appian Way is the Queen of the Roman Roads and you'll see it exactly as it was 2000 years ago. First we will meet at the Bar and have a coffee before we start. Than we'll bike through a park, to the most ancient Roman road, the Appian Way, with glimpses of rare beauty, and get to the ancient Roman Aqueducts immersed in typical Mediterranean nature. The ride is relaxing, with many stops, the pace is slow, you get to see Rome off the beaten path, enjoying the surprising beauty of mother nature and ancient ruins, just a few kilometers apart from the hustle and bustle of the city center. So GET READY TO RIDE FOR ALMOST 15 KM (10 MILES), through some of the city’s most unique sightseeing, discover hidden spots in nature, see some of the unknown gems of Rome and get back to your place with perfect pictures. During the ride you'll also taste typical flavours of a Roman appetizer.

It was a fantastic experience, I offer it to everyone. We cycled in a 20km long ancient park what you could barely walk around by your self. Sergio did not begrudge the time from the programme, he was very patient and waited for everyone to take pics and to be amazed from the view. He answered every question on a really interesting way. I really did not like the guided historical tours before, but it was way different. So again, I offer this programme to everyone genuinely.

This was the perfect Sunday experience starting with a coffee and followed by a beautifully narrated bicycle ride. I ended up being the only participant which meant more time for questions :) Thank you so much.

Sérgio creates with his customers, whom he treats as friends, a special and rare empathy. And, above all, Sérgio is truly passionate and cultivated about Roman History. He offered us an authentic Time voyage ! It was an exceptionally interesting and “alive” experience ! And, last but not least, Sérgio is a gentleman, always attentive and careful with each one of his experience companions. It couldn’t be better !!!

Excellent experience! During pandemia time I was the only guest and it felt as a special experience. Absolutely loved the anscient Roman road and perspective that Sergio gave me on its glorious past and the Roman community surrounding it. Being on a bike felt a good exercise too, the path is mostly in shade. Truly off the beaten path and very happy to recommend it.
